just did a search in the 'A long-necked flying dog' forum for the 6 letter N-word that gets people banned... ( well .. some people... seems some people are allowed to write it... )

thankfully there are only 3 results.. not 2,000 or something... ( so 99% good job mods.. )
but some of the results are from 2017.. so why haven't these been edited out of existence already..?


Hate Language like this should be constantly monitored.. why are these 3 still up..?

i bar entry of gays or blacks or whatever from my home, my private property, are their rights being infringed? No, it's private property. And i can call a black person a **NP-edit** if i want, the gov't can't, or shouldn't be able to, penalize me for such. Just like i could call someone an asshole, or **NP-edit**, or **NP-edit**.

I don't eat donuts because they're just empty carbs. If I'm going to eat something unhealthy, it had better be spectacularly good to make it worthwhile, like a Black Forest cake or a Mocha Cream Torte. I'm not going to eat something unhealthy if it's also boring.

Regarding old offenses against site policy. We have a small group of part-time mods. They don't have time for chasing old offenses. We deal with current offenses as they come up. Once in a while something slips through. If it's more than a couple months old or so, it's unlikely to be worthy of attention. However, it's entirely possible that those offenses were dealt with at the time. Since we don't publicly discuss people's ban history, you don't know that the individuals concerned didn't get warnings or bans at the time.

Type out what? My post you've dug up? It's already there for everyone to see. Or 'nigger?' I have no qualms writing or even saying the word. It isn't against the rules because racism (as in a racist "hAtE sPeEcH") requires a victim, someone for the word to be directed at. It's no more racism than talking about the book, The Nigger of Narcissus, at a book club is racist.

Let me preempt you because I'm sure you'll bring it up at some point: your problem is that you're conflating free speech in a public venue with speech in a privately owned (Canadian) website. You don't have it here, and neither do i. If the site wishes to ban me for this post, then that's their prerogative and i won't complain. I'm not sure whence you've dug up that post, but it sounds like something I'd say and it still applies to you. Your incessant whinging because the mods have come down unfairly upon you (in your mind) doesn't help you, and neither does digging up old "offenses" (again a rheumy supposition on your part). Even if the administration were to ban me, it's not hate speech so much as a rule violation, if it were a rule expressly stated by the site.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a ramp-up on the rate of your annual breakdown spiral, because the sooner you get banned, the better.
