i put a fork in trying to debate with you a long time ago Mike.

i told you it was pointless to debate with you and you went all bat-shit crazy..
you are the one who has been on the personal attack spree in this thread for pages on end with anyone who disagrees with your position..

It is odd that you keep replying to me if you do not want to debate the issue. Oh, that's right, you do not know how to debate; you merely engage in sophistry, obfuscation, and citing bad data. And you do not cite facts. That is not a debate, MADp; that means you conceded the debate and discussion some 3 pages or more ago in this thread and on other threads too on this topic.

MADp = 0
JP4Fun = 72

Well, to be fair:

MADp = 3
JP4Fun = 72

Be sure to capitalize "i" when typing and referring to yourself; this is not a text message. Or was that a Freudian slip? And this from a guy who criticizes my grammar? Be sure to take away 1 more point from MADp.

In case you needed more evidence:

https://www.researchgate.net/profile/David_Easterling2/publication/252137071_Global_warming_Evidence_for_asymmetric_diurnal_temperature_change/links/54edebba0cf2e55866f19d97.pdf

The following quote is from the source above:

Increases of CO, and other radiatively active trace gases (methane, chlorofluorocarbons. nitrous oxide and tropospheric
ozone) are expected to raise global equilibrium general circulation models' for a doubling of atmospheric CO,. Up to now,
the rise in equivalent CO, concentration (incorporating the radiative effects of the other trace gases) has lifted levels about
40% above their preindustrial level of around 280 p.p.m.v

The quote below is taken from the source below:
It is now well established that the global average surface temperature has risen between 0.3 and 0.6ĆøC since the latter half of the nineteenth century

https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1038/332790b0.pdf

Also consider, from the source below:
A consistent correlation is highlighted between global annual temperature and runoff, suggesting a 4% global runoff increase by 1 °C global temperature rise. However, this global trend should be qualified at the regional scale where both increasing and decreasing trends are identified. North America runoffs appear to be the most sensitive to the recent climatic changes. Finally, this contribution provides the first experimental data-based evidence demonstrating the link between the global warming and the intensification of the global hydrological cycle. This corresponds to more intense evaporation over oceans coupled to continental precipitation increase or continental evaporation decrease. This process finally leads to an increase of the global continental runoff.

We could start by replenishing the natural aquifers around the world. These Natural water tanks have existed for thousands of years. That with allowing water flow into depressions (already talked about). The Ogallala aquifer could sure use an infusion from rivers near it.

I agree . but JP's Cure For Rising Ocean Levels was spot on. .
it was...
um..
uhh..

hold on . let me try to find it..
it was..

geez.. where is it..?
I now he HAD to have posted at least 1 Cure for rising ocean levels.

I mean there have been 266 posts so far. he has posted like 50 in this thread.

where is it..

I mean he has rambled on extensively about global warming.. & the weather... which do have something to do with ice melting.. but the oceans will still be rising.. regardless.. .. but where is the post about curing rising ocean levels.. ?

( oh wait.. he hasn't..... )

Sea Level Rise
Global sea level rose about 8 inches in the last century. The rate in the last two decades, however, is nearly double that of the last century and is accelerating slightly every year

Before one can offer a solution to a problem, one must first acknowledge and then understand it. Is this an acknowledgement of the problem?

I have offered this quote (evidence) before it was largely ignored.

the title of the thread acknowledges the problem you just quoted..
it was pointless to tell us about sea level rise in a thread titled Cure for rising ocean levels..
--> it's in the title..
we are not your classroom. .you think because you are a teacher, everyone around you needs to hear you tell us stuff we already know..

so I am right..
not once have you proposed a cure for rising ocean levels..

we are happy you think you need to ramble on page after page telling us why the oceans are rising... but we already know

how about a providing a cure to help with the rising oceans..
as suggested in the title of this thread, which is what this thread is all about..
not your ego..

I did propose a solution; you failed to see it. Examine the evidence.

why would someone read Evidence of something already acknowledged..

evidence.
1.the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.

evidence of why something is occurring is not a cure for what is happening...

here is an example of your logic.. -->
me: " We need to figure out a cure on how to keep teenagers from drinking & driving"
JP: " Drunk driving is when you drink too much alcohol & drive your car.. "
me: " no sh*t JP.. so what's your cure for keeping teenagers from drinking & driving?"
JP: " I just told you... you failed to understand.. "
me: *facepalm*

funny how you cannot reference your "cure for rising ocean levels" that you clam to have posted
maybe you need to go back and edit one of your posts to include this "cure"...

just let us know when you accomplish this task..

Use of complete sentences is helpful to make your arguments coherent and cogent. Also, the word is THAN, not then. Spelling errors that you're making also detract from your position.

JP4Fun

this means you take all 100 july's in the 20th century. .and average them out to a single temperature..this july was hotter then that average temperature

I am giving you one more chance to do your homework.

I had the answer more that a week ago; actually, I had much longer, but was not asked until 8 days ago. Answers to your mundane questions do not occupy a high place in my list of priorities in life, RL and CC life, either.

Let's see what this pupil can do. Can he figure out this apparent conundrum?
