If Europe wants to drop NATO, more power to it. The US can always use deficit reductions. It's highly unlikely that NATO is equipped to handle the internal strife / economic takeover of the coming years anyway.
Nonsense. There are far fewer muslims in Europe than most Americans seem to realize. In Germany current surveys put islam in a mere range between 2.2% and 3.7%. The most recurring argument for an 'islamic invasion' is immigration and the fact that muslim families have more babies than local families. This argument however doesn't take into account Eastern Europeans. The vast majority of all migrants into rich Western- and Northern-Europe are Eastern Europeans, whom also often have large families. Moreover the single strongest grower in Europe is atheism/agnosticism, not islam.
Mentioning China is even more ridiculous as China and the EU actually get along very well. China has only ever showed interest in trade and technology and they have NOT sent "forces to several key European points of interest". They sent some policemen to Belgrade, a minor city not in the EU, and they've bought some real estate in countries like Greece. That's it. They hold no power in the big economic centres of Europe. They hold no force here worth mentioning.
I'm sorry, but your arguments just strengthen my opinion. The USA is the big antagonist trying to incite discord among other nations and blocks.
