I made a goof..
Earth has been around for 10 billion years..
humans have been industrialized for 200 years. .
that means .. Goranz is actually using 0.000002% of a timeframe to create his climate change narrative

--> 0.000002% <--

NomadPatriot wrote:so if you can prove humans can control the climate.. go right ahead.. because if humans can make it hotter, then humans can make it colder..

Control of the climate is beyond human capability. Atm humans only demonstrated an ability to make the planet hotter.

NomadPatriot wrote:if 'climate change ' was actually a extinction level event.. the world governments would immediately stop all CO2 production.. but guess what.. --> they aren't..

So you want to say that if a hurricane is heading your way and you are not doing anything it wont hurt you. Can you demonstrate that to all of us? I want to see the results :D

If the governments aren't stopping CO2 emissions it doesn't mean climate change is not extinction level event. Most of the governments are doing something according to UNFCCC regulations, except for Trump's America.

I know you figure out that one while you were shitting in the toilet

The age of the Earth is estimated to be 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years
Once again my 0.000002%(according to you) is far bigger then yours 0%

On the topic: Historic Heat in Alaska
And this is not happening only in Alaska but also in Siberia and Canada.

- isn't ice melting a good thing?
when ice melts on land it frees up that land for plants to grow. plants consume CO2.. the more open ice-free land there is the more CO2 consuming plants will grow.. thus the Earth fixes itself...

- it doesn't matter what data people provide in opposition of your arguments Goranz.. every time someone does you say it is not real or doesn't apply..
you only see what you want to see ( or what you have been brainwashed to believe..) so what's the point..

- saying a hurricane is an extinction level event just goes to show to what extremes your brain goes too when thinking about things..

- Earth is estimated.. estimated to be 4.9 billion years old. .no one knows.. I estimate 10 billion..
but we can go with your estimate.. you are up too 0.000004% of a timeframe..
good job !!

- so if humans can make the earth hotter by co2 emissions, then humans can make the earth colder by removing co2 emissions.. your only problem is humans are not removing the co2 emissions... just tell a big tech company to invent a cheap solar powered co2 scrubber.. and slap one on every single house on the planet.. they are smart.. should only take them a couple hours to create it.. ... - problem solved

no, plants decomposing for millennia release nasty methane and also ice reflects sunlight at a higher rate than plants store it in sugar

that sounds really cheap. i am sure big oil and coal will just let that happen and not release some BS to misinform the masses and protect their profits

no clue why you are inserting things into my comment when you quote me Hotfire. .
I never said those things.. read my original comment & learn how to use the quote feature..

---
oh so decomposing plants are causing global warming..
gotcha..

----
go right ahead and show proof of this ice reflecting sunlight is better then plants absorbing co2.. I thought the point was to get rid of co2.. not redirect sunlight. unless you are suggesting sunlight is also causing global warming..
---
don't try to remove the co2. big oil won't let you. but big oil will allow governments to prevent you from buying their products. --> this makes complete sense.

------

it's like no one remembers the 1970's cooling period where humans caused the earth to cool by releasing Aerosols into the atmosphere. ( but humans cannot make the earth colder. those top scientists were wrong. today's top scientists are right.. )

You are proposing ON/OFF switch, you turn it ON and CO2 disappears, you turn it OFF and its back again.

Is your proposal applicable on yourself? Same switch but for your brain. You desperately need to turn it ON

and I see you have lost the capacity to continue the debate..
you just resort to personal attacks..
like I said.. when counterarguments or solutions are presented . you do not accept them.. only your narrative is possible, otherwise you might loose your grip on things

Why you say personal attack when I only extended capabilities of your proposal... I say we need simple multi-functional device!

Just imagine we get ON/OFF switch but only for CO2. We will still have problems with the heat, and someone like you proposes that we open our fridges for few months, jut to cool the planet a little bit. We must get ON/OFF switch for everything connected with our planets climate.
After all we will look for a solution from a Big Tech Company, not some garage workshop. Bear with me on this one.

now you are arguing Global Warmings is a sun related issue. not a co2 related issue.
