The Department of Justice has assigned John Henry Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, to open a criminal investigation into who in the Clinton campaign, outgoing Obama regime, and Democratic Party started the now-debunked Russia conspiracy theory as part of an effort to set the stage for the illegal overthrow of the democratically elected President Donald Trump.

Durham has a history of successfully investigating government corruption and disloyalty within law enforcement and intelligence. In 2005 he led the inquiry into the CIA torture tapes scandal, in 2002 he uncovered FBI collusion with the Mafia leading to the imprisonment of one FBI special agent, he helped secure a $101 million judgment against the FBI for four innocent men the bureau had framed, and in 2009 he investigated the CIA's "enhanced interrogation" techniques.
