He should call him Sloppy Joe.

Then once that sticks he could start changing it to Slobbery Joe.

during a debate he should look at Trump and say " we all heard you say the thing about grabbing women Donald.. but.. you know what's better...? when you grab women around the rib cage just below their breasts or pin them In place by pushing down on their shoulders and sniff their hair right before you kiss them...especially the young ones..."

Who is he talking to that is telling him he could win?

He’s got no shot. Not just because the “Touchy Joe” stuff, though that certainly doesn’t help. He’s too old, too white, and too disconnected from the public. That statement is coming from me, a middle aged white guy.

The “Touchy Joe” stuff is bad, but I don’t think it’s sexual... regardless though we like be in a world where that’s no longer acceptable, and he doesn’t really recognize that fact. Sad.

Are you the one "out of touch"

Joe Biden at this time is the favorite flavor among Democrats at this time. It's early right now, but his rallies prove he is popular.

No one has accused Joe of sexual assault....unlike Trump.

Keep an eye on New York State District Attorney's Office and Trump's tax returns.

He might be popular with ‘the base’, but he’s the Democrat most likely to lose to Trump in the general. I’m not saying he will lose, I’m just saying he’s more than any of the other 50 Democratic candidates running.

I’m not out of touch, “the base” thought Hillary would roll over Trump, but I knew her negatives were too high. Joe’s negatives aren’t so high, but see what happens if he’s the nominee. The Democrats (and the country) are best served by fresh blood.

Virtually anyone could have beat him in 2016, but the Democrats managed to dredge up the one candidate on earth bad enough to make him look good. Don't get me wrong. I'm sympathetic to the Democrats, but political acumen isn't their strong suit. I thought a dead turtle could have beaten Dubya, also, but somehow they managed to fumble the ball on that one.

There's a lot of negatives to Biden, and try as I might, I don't see a single positive. Elderly, boring, not-too-bright, no really creative or interesting policy positions, and an embarrassing level of touchy-feely which is probably innocent enough but will continue to hurt his image whether it's innocent or not.

If you want to fumble against the Orange Monstrosity in 2020, Biden seems like a good choice.

Honestly, being a bit teflon might work for him. Trump's tactic was to be tactically less hated, and he still lost the popular vote. Do people really hate Biden the way that they hated Clinton?

I don't think people hate Biden. It's more that he leaves people uninterested.

Do you think that Trump tried to be less hated? I think he tried to be very hated; he thrives on conflict. Getting Clinton to foil against was largely dumb luck for him.

I absolutely think that Trump campaigned to be less hated, as you put it. Indeed, to go further, he emphasised the hatred of his opponent.

I'm not sure what your point is on this, to be honest.

His point is that sleepy Joe isn’t ‘hated’ like Clinton was... essentially the same point I made, that his negatives aren’t s high as Clinton’s.

I’m not saying Trump will beat touchy Joe.

I’m saying that...
*Trump has a better chance against stumbling Joe than he has against any other top Democratic candidate.
*Joe isn’t the best choice for our country.

These are of course just my opinions.

Fair enough, and I get what you're saying, even though you're speaking on Duk's behalf for this.

Point wise, the whole "Trump nickname" plus candidate is kinda lame at this point.

"this isn't the 1st time Biden has been accused of this behavior"..

Fake quotes now? It was Bernie who said that, not me.

I just quoted it off of your comment...
I guess that is the problem when you quote someone who quoted someone else quoting another person who quoted someone else who made the original statement..

You’re entitled to that opinion.

I’m gonna keep on making names to call dumbo Joe.

It’s going beyond copying Trump, and I feel my use of this trope has gone meta and makes fun of Trump as much, or more, than it makes fun of gray-haired Joe.

Yeah you just removed the wrong author a bit like I did intentionally here. I figured that's what happened.

This is your reminder that 23 women have accused Donald Trump of everything from invading their space in a way that made them uncomfortable (what Biden did, which is bad and one of the reasons I don't like him for elected office) to sexual assault. Donald Trump's sexual harassment accusations have their own Wikipedia page.

The problem with this (and just for the record I think trump is a rapist and a douchebag)... Trump voters didn't care what he did or said. The voters that Biden needs at his base probably do care. So on a personal level for the foreseable future democratic candidates will be held to a higher standard of personal conduct then republican candidate (by the electorate at large)

As a Trump supporter I agree. I don't care whose pussy Trump grabbed. But Sunshine Gonzalez and her yoga students in Half Moon Bay, California care whose pussy Biden grabbed. Since Biden is polling best against Trump, it's important we make sure Sunshine knows about all about Biden going into the Democratic primary.
