I understand those words, but I don't understand how you're putting any of them together.

Symm,

The words refer to USA College Basketball, Men's Division I, NCAA; it's all about sports.

Let March Madness start NOW..!! Brackets are to be announced very soon...! Get your brackets READY.

And be ready for the Bracket Busters, such as UMBC, vs. UVa, 2018....! (My sister-in-law is a graduate of UMBC; my son and I were both accepted to UVa; neither of us attended.)

For Symmetry:

The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, also known and branded as NCAA March Madness, is a single-elimination tournament played each spring in the United States, currently featuring 68 college basketball teams from the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the national championship. The tournament was created in 1939 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, and was the idea of Ohio State coach Harold Olsen.[1] Played mostly during March, it has become one of the most famous annual sporting events in the United States.

The tournament teams include champions from 32 Division I conferences (which receive automatic bids), and 36 teams which are awarded at-large berths. These "at-large" teams are chosen by an NCAA selection committee, then announced in a nationally televised event on the Sunday preceding the "First Four" play-in games, currently held in Dayton, Ohio, and dubbed Selection Sunday. The 68 teams are divided into four regions and organized into a single-elimination "bracket", which pre-determines, when a team wins a game, which team it will face next. Each team is "seeded", or ranked, within its region from 1 to 16. After the First Four, the tournament occurs during the course of three weekends, at pre-selected neutral sites across the United States. Teams, seeded by rank, proceed through a single-game elimination bracket beginning with a "first four" consisting of 8 low-seeded teams playing in 4 games for a position in the first round the Tuesday and Wednesday before the first round begins, a first round consisting of 64 teams playing in 32 games over the course of a week, the "Sweet Sixteen" and "Elite Eight" rounds the next week and weekend, respectively, and – for the last weekend of the tournament – the "Final Four" round. The Final Four is usually played during the first weekend of April. These four teams, one from each region (East, South, Midwest, and West), compete in a preselected location for the national championship

He won't get it. Symm, imagine a ball that will bounce. Then a ball being thrown through a hoop.

That's basketball.

WOODY: Historic moment for UMBC is humiliating loss for UVA

By PAUL WOODY
Richmond Times-Dispatch

https://www.richmond.com/sports/college/schools/university-virginia/woody-historic-moment-for-umbc-is-humiliating-loss-for-uva/article_a4d29e02-2998-11e8-a5f9-d77d76d6121a.html

ALSO: https://www.dailypress.com/sports/dp-spt-uva-mens-basketball-acc-media-day-102518-story.html

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For this, we need to go to the thesaurus.

First word: Historic.

Next string of words: Stunning. Unthinkable. Humiliating (for Virginia). Exhilarating (for the University of Maryland-Baltimore County). Unforgettable. Unbelievable.

Where were you when the biggest upset in NCAA tournament history took place?
The University of Virginia Cavaliers were here in the Spectrum Center, as were the UMBC Retrievers.
UMBC made history. The Virginia Cavaliers will go down in history, and it will not be history as they want to remember it.
Never before in NCAA tournament had a No. 16 seed defeated a No. 1 seed.

That changed Friday night when UMBC upset, defeated, and simply outplayed Virginia 74-54.

Jus....what's my grandson's name? I may want to give him a premium here for a Christmas gift.

Does he have blue eyes, charming personality and a thing for women like his Grandpa? Most of my my kids and grandkids have blue eyes except those with mixed races if you catch my drift, heh....

Lies # 125-129; first, you are NOT charming.

His name? JusPlay4Fun. Send all gifts and checks to that username; like your other checks, I am sure those checks will bounce, too. And the Gift Cards were found to have insufficient funds. More fake stuff from the Fake Burnie. What a surprise.....!

NOT.

Get your Brackets filled and then watch, enjoy, have FUN, and be ready for a few upsets. Even #1 lost to #16, last year.

My team is a #4; we should win R1, BUT you never kno.......

I never even finished my Bachelor's Degree. 18-year old prodigy with a 157 IQ, a big entrance scholarship, and profs fawning over him, all gone to waste. Long story, lots of twists and turns in my life, depression, a lot of bad choices in life. Radical politics, religion, drugs, crime, bad marriages, bad business investments. If there's a mistake you can make in life, I made it.

It's not all bad. I've never been to jail for more than a couple hours, and I've never had any really gruesome diseases. So my life may be dull now, but I have my liberty and I have my health.

Very interesting life, Duk. Mine is boring, by comparison.

We also go by Double T or Red Raiders. Lubbock is 6 hours from anything interesting or scenic so we have a lot of time to practice.

Apparently all that practice paid off, Double T is in the next round and Liberty is dead. Grats

Comments on Double T and MORE:

5. Texas Tech reminds the world how good it can be

Buffalo earned a lot of praise as a team that could defend at an elite level. In the Bulls’ second-round game, they saw what elite defense really looks like. Chris Beard has his Texas Tech team playing as well on the defensive end of the floor as any team in college basketball.

On Sunday, Buffalo’s high-speed offensive attack was absolutely smothered by the Red Raiders. The Bulls managed to record just three more made field goals than turnovers. Every trip down the floor was a slog against the activity of Tech’s defense. At one point, the Red Raiders went on a 27-3 run, leaving Buffalo with no answers.

Two Virginia Teams still in:

4. Top of the ACC shows its might

All five of the top teams in the ACC have advanced to the Sweet 16, the most of any conference. That was expected of the three teams from the conference that were awarded top seeds. North Carolina and Virginia both coasted relatively unharmed through the first weekend. Both trailed at the half in the first round before coasting through their next 60 strong minutes of basketball.
Duke faced the toughest test of any ACC club, barely sneaking past UCF. Even though the Blue Devils were one last-second bucket away from heading home early, they are still the favorites to cut down the nets at season’s end.
The other two ACC teams advancing have been among the most impressive in the tournament. Florida State held off a tough challenge from Vermont and routed a Murray State team that was clicking late in the season. Virginia Tech looked strong in two wins this weekend, with Justin Robinson back healthy in the lineup providing senior leadership and a scoring pop. These two 4 seeds will now have a crack at Gonzaga and Duke to earn a bid to the Elite Eight.

7. Virginia has exorcised its demons

The Cavaliers have a long way to go before Tony Bennett, his players and their fans are pleased with this season, but after the way Virginia ended its season last year, a strong first weekend was an absolute must. Even though Virginia started slowly and trailed at the half against Gardner-Webb, this weekend has been an unequivocal success for the Hoos.

Virginia played its way and earned two hard-fought, but relatively easy victories. The Cavaliers' opponents struggled to crack the Pack Line defense, hoisting up a host of bad shots. Even when Virginia also went cold for stretches, Bennett’s club consistently manufactured stops on defense to control the game.
