It was -30 here a couple of days ago -22F, then yesterday it was about 30F. Now it's snowing again.

People were pretty excited about it being so warm some of the snow and ice was melting in the sun.

The part of the planet that changes temperature is pretty thin. Like if we compare the earth to an egg the shell is a few miles thick yet does not go very deep. I have read below the crust it stays quite hot.
