In 20mins you can drive from an area in the bottom 5% of the country financially to 2 different areas in the top 10 places for millionaires per square mile.

I live in the UK but my girlfriend used to live in Washington DC and when I visited I noticed it had a lot of similarities. The main difference however was that the neighbourhoods were also largely divided by the colour of your skin, which isn't as common here.

My current city is quite warm, has beach, beautiful women, historical landmarks, good connection with several European cities, either by plane, train or highways, it has mountains nearby where you can ski on winter, great bar and restaurant offer, and is truly diverse. The downside is that some areas are a bit too touristic, and the cost of living is high. And there is the political instability from the wish of part of the population that wants to secede from the current country, although that is not something you can feel in the daily basis

Pretty sure the train goes on a ferry, so it's actually a ferry ride.

A wave of water rushes up the river twice a day, you can actually surf it.

Take the train to Busan. Apparently it's a city that is bigger than Toronto.

Well, it depends...from Bogota, you still have to travel 1000 km to reach the Caribbean coast. From there, either in Barranquilla or in Cartagena, you can get into a boat or cruise, that can take you to, lets say Rotterdam or Antwerpen, and from there you will have to figure it out to reach Paris, should take a couple of hours more. Lets say, in total, at least 2 weeks. Now, if you go for leisure, the trip can take a couple of months, taking a cruise of your choice. Unfortunately there is still no train available.
