- Most tech savvy, social media-friendly campaign
- Cosmopolitan 21st century leader (lesbian in relationship with minority woman, has lived internationally, etc.)

CDU
- Socially conservative platform seated in Christianity
- Leader is some grandmother whose ability to cling to power is unheard of outside of corrupt banana republics

Well we can start discussing semantics, but I don't see the point.
China is in many ways still communist. Their industries might evolve quickly, but their government apparatus has moved forward at an almost equally slow pace as the EU.
