Are those 26 losses the reason you have plummeted to almost 2600 points then?

Yep... you are the all time leader in 1 0n 1...
I would expect that nobody will ever catch up to you in 1 0n 1 losses..

you strike me as the jealous type, particularly considering the fact that you don't even play risk on conquer club anymore in order to preserve your "amazing score."

once again, somebody who doesn't know me makes a completely inaccurate conclusion... but it's okay, this has happened all my life, so the problem isn't you, it must stem from my peculiar sense of retaliatory humor... something Johnny and I tend to do to each other since we live fundamentally different lives and play fundamentally different... so trust me when I say I have absolutely ZERO jealously with regards to JR...

But it is true that I let my games whittle down to just a few no cards and a flat rate game... those games just keep going and going.... I think I'll stick with escalating when I get back from Nashville...

hee hee... yes, this too is fundementally different... JR went on vacation and wanted to have 300 active games... I go somewhere, and I try to whittle down my games down to zero so I can focus on, well.... having fun in real life... http://www.cmafest.com/2007/

playing long-winded games where all one does is fort their armies doesn't necessarily constitute playing risk and I am not sure why you refer to something like this happening all your life, sounds quite melodramatic as I am just raising a valid point although of course I do not know your individual personal circumstances.

I have 100 jealously with regards to Robin, so it is true we are different.

FYI, I was forced to stay home for a week. So I really dint take a "vacation".

Nashville= ouch

Dont you live in California? Why would you go there ? I guess someone has too.

Why Johnny... that was actually a nice thing to say... did you mean for it to come out that way??

JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:FYI, I was forced to stay home for a week. So I really didnt take a "vacation".

I can think of only 2 reasons to be forced to be stuck at home for a week with lots of time on your hands (that you can plan ahead for)... and neither are good... 1 involves physical recovery, the other involves an ankle bracelet. Either way, I hope it's all behind you now.

JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:Nashville= ouch

The Nashville chamber of commerce wants to have a word with you...
Yes I do live in California... San Francisco Bay... but this is a big week in Nashville, and I had never been to the CMA festival... and I just have to say this is a wonderful city, and I am enjoying myself more than I imagined I would... Flying home tomorrow.

Rest time is over... time to get some Jack Daniels and a steak dinner (when in Rome...) and then on to watch various performers

Its obviously a tactical advantage for JR to join the games last.... duh...

edit: wow! how did you get your score to rise by 500-600 points so quickly- JR? I thought that only singles players did that, nice job.

i did play singles. about 140 of them. throw in about 200 triples and my score went from 2,200 to 2,950 in 2 days. The games all started and finished the same time.

and yes I agree, its better to join the game 2nd. But what is next? I start a game and a low rank player joins and loses. Than I hear the same whine. Perhaps I should put them all on my ignore list ? Than they will whine that I wont play them. Its never ending with everyone. Just cant seem to please anyone.

Well so far I am UNDEFEATED... but I am a long ways away from 100 games...
In fact, I am pretty certain that you are the ONLY player to have played anywhere close to 100 2 player games...

On another note about Nashville... I just have to say that I have stayed in hotels all over the world, but there really is NO PLACE that compares to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel... This place is really amazing... and truly unlike any other hotel in the world... You really have to experience it to believe it...

Last time i'm posting here. I could care less who you choose to play, or what type. I'm just saying i think your record would be more impressive if it were public games you started instead of joining games with cooks, cadets, and privates.
