Milo Yiannopoulos

Postby Symmetry on Tue Feb 21, 2017 3:13 am

Looks like a bad few weeks for him.

Milo Yiannopoulos’s Pedophilia Comments Cost Him CPAC Role and Book Deal

WASHINGTON — Milo Yiannopoulos, a polemical Breitbart editor and unapologetic defender of the alt-right, tested the limits of how far his provocations could go after the publication of a video in which he condones sexual relations with boys as young as 13 and laughs off the seriousness of pedophilia by Roman Catholic priests.

On Monday, the organizers of the Conservative Political Action Conference rescinded their invitation for him to speak this week. Simon & Schuster said it was canceling publication of ā€œDangerousā€ after standing by him through weeks of criticism of the deal. And Breitbart itself was reportedly reconsidering his role amid calls online for it to sever ties with him.

Mr. Yiannopoulos’s comments, which quickly created an uproar online over the weekend, put many conservatives in a deeply uncomfortable position. They have long defended Mr. Yiannopoulos’s attention-seeking stunts and racially charged antics on the grounds that the left had tried to hypocritically censor his right to free speech.

But endorsing pedophilia, it seemed, was more than they could tolerate. The board of the American Conservative Union, which includes veterans of the conservative movement like Grover Norquist and Morton Blackwell, made the decision to revoke Mr. Yiannopoulos’s speaking slot and condemn his comments on Monday.

small news when you have a president that discredits his intelligence agencies, considers the press the enemy of the US and gets his intel from fox news.

this guy will self publish in amazon, then will make a porn movie and will be a celebrity in the US.

Possibly, but then there are plenty of Trump thread, Nietz. The alt-right stuff is kinda related if you're looking for a link.

maybe but this guy crossed a line that not even trump has crossed ( and if he has any ounce of intelligence left wont cross) Pedo's are hated by just about any group in the US, and rightfully so. anyone who condone's it is slightly less hated if they haven't crossed the line.... but still hated/rejected quite a bit. Its why pedo's have separate blocks inside prisons... because once its known you have a target on your back.

What Milo said is nothing new. Academic research conducted in the Netherlands has previously drawn the same conclusions that Milo drew. However, Milo made the mistake of making his comments in one of the most bloodthirsty theocracies in the world. Given he's been living there for years he really ought to know by now that there's no point trying to play the harp to a cow. Nuanced debate is lost on these savages.

You're correct- there is a line. He crossed it.

If I did try to have a serious discussion about this with you, how long would it be before you had reverted to accusing me of being a child pornographer?

I think it's something that you'll have to live with for a while, to be honest. I'd like to see you at least own up to it though.

Much like Milo- a public apology is the first step.

Do you really think drumph is doing anything that will affect anything radically for his term? His election just further proves the office is just a distraction, so the global elites can function better, while you complain about the "president."

Having anal sex for the first time is a lot like learning how to ride a bike. You don't really want to, but your dad makes you do it anyway.

Nah- I've heard the properly offensive version. You're an idiot for telling an already idiotic joke in an idiotic way. You're gonna need an idiot to bail you out this time.

Ok, I think the coast is clear.

Seriously, do you really think they would let Bill or Dubya have the "nuke codes"? PUSA is just a figure head puppet position. Obama is my favorite so far, did you even hear of that guy before he suddenly came out of the senator pool and beat Hillary to get the job?

i'm not sure, i would think he does have access to the codes. but this is a matter so serious that even him in his mental world knows it's something really dangerous. I even imagine that if he sees something in fox news and thinks it's time to nuke someone, someone would stop him, some general that has to confirm or however it is.

and i think trump is waiting for some idiot like kim jong un to cross the line to address the nation and tell everyone america must be together in this time of need and suddenly all americans wave their flags and everything is forgotten and trump is great.

but what is your question about? that if i think the rich and powerful aren't in control? yeah they are to a certain extent, for instance, if trump planned to do something that would really affect them they would use their power to lobby and stop him. but this question i don't understand.. you're asking me why do i care about trump and not about the puppeteers? normally i wouldn't care about any, i mean i know it's fucked up how some people don't have enough to eat and some others control the wealth of the world, but can i do? I care about trump because he's an idiot and it gets in my nerves how stupid this all is and more importantly because he tried to bully mexico just because he's an egomaniac.

this is pretty bad, as i've said before, even if 4 or 8 years pass and nothing drastic happens, this idiot has made it acceptable for some to be racist again. and this divide, i hope not, will end up badly in the us at some point.

The truth is this. Even though there are some decent people like me that would abolish racism. It can't be done. Too much misinformation and fear drives it.

That racism would be there with Hillary. Look how much worse things got with Obama in office. Some even blame him like you are trying to blame the new guy.

The United States of America was founded on the same colonial principals as Mexico and Canada, they just realized, "We're making this colony great. Let's create a country!" and broke off from England.

It's easy to get people to be racist. Just tell them a group of people are doing things to keep you down and let fear make it seem real. You hate people that speak English and have more money than you, right?
