Interesting- why do you think they're still rumours?

Because the positions haven't been announced

Fair point, I suppose I shouldn't listen to rumours. Does your post indicate that you think them likely?

Since the current cabinet only has one non-white woman in it (of three women overall, out of 16 cabinet officers), if Trump even bats 50% he has Obama tied. Rhee seems to be the favorite for Education, while Halley is a long-shot for State.
Obama's hatred of women has left a pretty low threshold that should be pretty easy to hit.

Well, it"s an opinion, I'll give you that. Thanks Saxi.

mrswdk wrote:Yes, muy. Millions of women voted for Trump. We didn't need your link to know that but thanks for confirming.
In other news! The British Conservative party has so far fielded two female prime ministers. In contrast, the 'left wing' Labour Party has yet to even have a female leader even in opposition. Germany's single female Chancellor is head of the rightist Christian Democratic Union. Now, the Republic Party's Trump is swooping in to elect one of the most gender-balanced American cabinets ever, lightyears ahead of the 'left wing' Democrat Party.
All of which begs the question: what makes conservatives so much more gender egalitarian than their progressive counterparts?

A few years back we had our very first gay prime minister in Belgium, a socialist. This begs the question what makes progressives so much more sexually egalitarian than their progressive counterparts?
