When you eliminate someone and it gives you more than 5 cards you can cash in as many sets as you have. If you cash and you still have 5 or more cards you HAVE to cash in again.

But if you take someone out and get 6 total you can cash two sets if you have them. If you have 9 cards you can cash 3 sets if you have them.

Also, notably, you can get and hold a maximum of 22 cards while someone else is still alive in a six player game. So in theory you could cash 7 sets on one turn. I know it sounds unbelievable, but its a bit of a puzzle how that can happen

you could turn in 3 times if you have the luck of the cards...but yes you MUST turn in 2 times

maybe in a freestyle game where a crazy chain happens in which one player has 5 cards and is not playing, another player with 4 eliminates that person, getting 9 cards total, then before they can cash in, another players with 4 cards eliminates them, for a total of 13 cards, and the same thing happens again for player 4, making it 17 then you eliminate that player before they can cash in, and if you have 4 cards at the start of the turn, you can have 21 to cash and go against the final player on the board....

hmm, not sure how you could make it 22 though.

Well they tested it to see if it could happen, and I actually think 21 is correct. I'm not sure how you got 18.

First person has 4 cards and eliminates someone with 5. That gives them 9, and they let time expire so they still have 9. Then the next person has 4 and takes out the one with 9 cards. And the pattern continues.

So its 4+5+4+4+4= 21

EDIT: And you're right, it could happen in a freestyle game as well.

No, if you go through and eliminate a player you will be forced to cash in. So you could cash in 8 times in a row the way you mentioned, but you wouldn't ever hold all of the cards. And you wouldn't be able to cash 8 sets in a row, as you would cash, attack someone else, cash....etc.

I don't think it would be possible in a real game. The best chance is in freestyle, and I could see someone getting over 9 cards at once as a freak incident, but all 21 would be some of the slimmest odds available (if it wasn't on purpose)

you could cash in 21 cards in one turn in...the most you could have at 1 time would be 25 ( but you couldn't turn in)

green has 5 cards
yellow has 4
blue has 4
red has 4
aqua has 4
purple has 4

yellow takes out green yellow has 9
blue takes out yellow, blue has 13
red takes out blue, red has 17
aqua takes out red, aqua has 21
purple takes out aqua, purple has 25...game over

This would be really interesting to see on the doodle earth map (when it comes out) you could have more cards than countries on the map. a few country cards would be doubled lol.
