Yep New Zealand. You mention 1. Dont you think every country has in their history some kind of flops ?
But Italy have also a lot of tops. Thats why we have 4 **** on our shirt
and yeah...my team is also in the 24

verratti was injured when I said that, and given how important for PSG that was, I knew italy would suffer a lot from that and from Pirlo's retirement.
You don't get what I meant though... sure italy had a lot of ups (including stealing the 2006 world cup from the french and winning 2 world cups when no one cared and it was only for mussolini's propaganda.... even uruguay won 2 at that time).
In the WC 2006, the italian football was all involved in the moggiopoli, and no one was giving a dime about this team... but that's when they managed to be mentally very strong
In the 2008 eurocup, they just went to quarter finals losing against spain in a well fought game
In the WC 2010, they were defending their title with most of their stars still in the team and they didn't pass a very lousy group stage with new zealand
In EC 2012, a miracle happened and they went all the way to the final, but then losing 4-0, the worse defeat ever in a final. They were pretty shitty that year, no one was expecting them and no one would've imagined to see them beat germany in semis.
in the WC 2014, they didn't pass the group stage and even finished last with most of the players you're talking about.
So yeah, 2016 they still didn't really managed to change the old generation, the team is mostly stinking old with a lot of injuries; so yeah this team isn't a great italian team.
That's pretty lame for a dutch to support italy with the history your national team has, unless your mum or your dad is Italian, LAME!!!!!
