I mean, it's in bad taste. He killed an innocent person with a gun that he's now selling. I heard on the news (I don't watch the news, I was passing a television) that he preemptively said "I have a right to sell my own property" or whatever. And he does have that right. And I have the right to call him a horrible human being.

Also, I thought he was using the funds to "take down Hillary Clinton" and not to fight Black Lives Matter.

I'm pretty sure he was not charged with killing an innocent person... he was charged with murder or manslaughter (I can't remember) and the court found him not guilty (rightfully so). Perhaps I should not have said "innocent" given that Trayvon Martin apparently tried to fight Zimmerman.

In sum, my post is misleading (although probably not irrelevant).

is going to be auctioned off next month by the Forensics Investigative Division in Queens to buy new vests for officers. The gun in question is the .38 that killed John Lennon. Bidding starts at $250,000.

Interesting to note, and this is a true story, this particular gun is signed out all the time from the forensics division. Signed out by officers who want to take it to the gun range to shoot the gun that shot Lennon. It's kind of a morbid fascination to the officers. The backlog to sign the gun out is months long.

Aren't those the people who make it a habit to block traffic and make people late to work and late to pick up their children from day care and making hungry children stay hungry for longer than needed since mommy and/or daddy are stuck in traffic resulting in an increase of consumption of unhealthy fast-food dinners causing morbid obesity and leading to a life of misery and a good chance of diabetes?

We should try to focus on saving lives rather than reveling in the exploitation of a murdered human being. Also goes without saying you only give a crap based on the color of the departed's skin. If the departed had white skin, or the self-defending extant had black skin, you wouldn't ever have heard the name Trayvon Martin or Jorge Zimmerman in the first place.

Sometime during this post somewhere an unarmed teenager was shot and killed by someone who has shot and killed many other people with no remorse and perhaps for no reason other than looking at someone funny or having the wrong color shoes. The one who killed the unarmed teen can't wait to kill again and is using the money stolen from the unarmed teen to stuff a strippers panties, buy 8$ drinks, and frequent a couple blackjack tables at the casino. Clearly this extremely realistic scenario is much worse for society by miles. My question to you Symm is why don't you give 2 shits about the monster roaming the streets who doesn't even get mentioned to the public but are still so wrapped up about a guy who has to watch his back which also has a target on it? Likely nature is going to take it's course, and then you can smile over another murder when Zimmerman finally gets it and probably find an exception to your views on gun control. Cuz ya know, you can fight hate all day all your life without ever realizing your own hate since your's is an acceptable form of hate.
