tzor has raised some interesting points about North Carolina's recent ban on people entering restrooms other than those designated for their birth sex.
His hypothesis: allowing transgender men to enter women's restrooms creates the risk of voyeurism, sexual assaults, molestation, and other instances of sexual deviance happened upon female defecators
He mentioned parents letting their children go to restaurant restrooms unattended as one possible opportunity for the pervert to pounce. I must be naive, because I had thought this was a fairly innocuous situation. However, tzor pointed out that the child would at the very least be photographed and end up as a star of some dark net kiddie snaps site. And that got me thinking..... is there anywhere a female can be safe in the North America of 2016?
My company has offices in the State and there is the possibility I will have to visit the US on business. As your average gal about town, I want to make sure I'm safe wherever I go (that's why I always go to the restroom with at least one other lady). So, in the interests of preparing myself I thought I'd ask OT how things work 'across the pond'.
So, in case I ever find myself in North America, which situations should I avoid?
Scenario 1 - A female college student is buying stationery in a store when there is a power cut. It's dusk.
OT's verdict: She will be raped
Scenario 2 - A family are at the beach swimming. The 13 year-old daughter visits a public restroom nearby, alone.
OT's verdict: She will be molested, and both she and her parents are to blame.
