Enjoyed that....nicely written....coming from a guy with a reading problem Read at least 2 books a week (ususally more) for over 40 years.....and only found a couple Englishy words that threw me! lol

What I would like is a synopsis of the story like one would find on the back cover / inside flap. Can't really tell what the venue is....time, place, etc....

wow! That's an awful lot of reading, and maybe you could offer a great opinion on a couple of the best books you've read in your experience if you don't mind me asking, besides Jonesy's which Iwill probably gander at. And did you ever get into the earth chronicles by Zackariah Stiltchin, or Hamlet/s Mill from the 60's, maybe chariots of the Gods?

Well, I've read the rest of the story into my computer with an OCR program, but this bit obviously hadn't been fine-tuned as much as the stuff that was on the computer, so it's being edited as and when I have time. Anyhow, Chapter Twenty-One is now up. COnce thewhole thing is complete I shall probably take it off wordpress and set it up as a publish-on-demand. I'm looking onto how to do that now. So if you want to read it free, the time is now.

I've realized I need to do a final final edit once I've put the whole thing up, mainly as a continuity check - character's names have changed, events which are referred to as having occurred might have been edited out, etc.Still and all, after many years, the end is actually in sight. We;re up to about 65000 words at the wordpress site so far.

Have you published anything before? I ask because it might be a good idea to condense some chapters into a short story, or set of short stories, and contact a journal.
