Axl used to have a magnificent voice, but it's gone.

I don't understand why people who were once great need to hang around and embarrass themselves instead of accepting that they don't have it anymore and retiring in well-deserved comfort.

This reminds me of Muhammed Ali's endless comebacks. Dude, sit down and shut up so we can remember you as the great you once were, instead of watching this fat old man crumble before our eyes!

Did anyone say Elvis Presley?

I think Axhole's crime was breaking up Guns instead of waiting for the recordings to get crappy.

Clearly he did not have the talent to pull a J Lennon. Now it might be too late to regroup, let's hope they can squeeze out another acceptable album or at least one more great song.

Malcolm left for understandable reasons. Rudd, well, there's history there. But Slade did Razor's Edge with AC/DC (Thunderstruck anyone?), so the drummer I'm fine with. The news about Brian Johnson and Axel Rose? That's a blindside.

But, well, been preoccupied with personal matters the last few days to really bother looking up Rolling Stone articles and what not. When these matters are "settled", then I'll think about this. As much as I like AC/DC, family comes first.

Would I rather Brian stayed? Of course but being in a band for a year can be a big feat. Never mind the time those guys toured together.

Yeah I know, I complained about Guns breaking up.

It's tough and tricky look at CheapTrick. Bun E Carlos was with them for decades and now they are fighting in court and all sorts of things.

It's a long way to the top..

Axl's voice has always been like nails on a chalkboard.

My whole city is in mourning. Thousands gather downtown Minneapolis. You have to appreciate the mind of that man.

wrestling insiders may know of this as the 'cheap pop' or just the wow factor. No doubt people I know have mentioned the comeback of GnR to me even at least saying they are buying tickets.

At around 2 and a half minutes he talks about his vault with over 200 unreleased demos of songs.

Maybe we will get a few more like Walk Like an Egyptian.
