Unless they're planning on trading Bradford before the season starts yet and letting Daniels go into the season as their #1 until Wentz (or Goff) is ready to start full time. None of this makes tons of sense right now though.
Well, it wasn't that long ago Denver didn't even have a QB on roster. And last I heard, they were gunning hard for Kaepernick.
I read that they are too far apart on how much his salary would be reduced.
Actually, that idea with a plan to trade Bradford (to 49ers because who else) would make a lot of sense given the trade with Browns, but why then would they give him the 18 million contract?
Maybe it is some kind of overreaction to what happened to Cowboys last season. Maybe someone at Philly got so traumatized by watching the Weeden saga that he spent the last couple of months going from man to man and screaming "We must secure the backup quarterback!!!"
I think that there is a conspiracy between Chip Kelly loyalists to make sure that his roster reshuffle is quickly forgotten by doing worse. Sure, they dumped Murray's, Alonso's and Maxwell's contracts on other teams, but then they used the cap space to overpay Bradford and Daniel AND, most impressively, they managed get fleeced by Browns (although I take that last part back if Rams leave Wentz on the board).
So yes, I agree, it's lizard people
