myspace is for paedophiles on the prowl. Wouldn't touch that site with a ten foot pole.

Nah, not really starved, just making up any excuse not to finish this stupid-assed financial report that's due Wednesday.

the whole four years of my undergrad degree I waited until the last second to write up the lab reports, but I'm determined not to stress myself out this time around, and get it done well before time.

Middle of winter here at the moment :P Summer/school holidays aren't until December for me.

Don't know what your schooling is like over yonder, but we have term breaks and semester breaks as well as end of year breaks. My semester break (which happens at the end of the first two terms of classes) is going to be in two weeks time, and then I'll have 3-4 weeks off, so that'll be great :D

wow very weird, lol, (then again my school schedule is weird even compared to the rest of the schools around us). My school has 4 terms of 9 weeks, after the first 2 terms we have christmas vacation which is 2 weeks off, but isn't really considered a "break" somehow. After term 3 we have spring break for 1 week, but that also isn't considered a break... Finally after term 4 we have the only real break for about 3 months...

that sounds almost exactly the same as what I just said, except that the holidays between "years" falls at different times of the year. Your semester break is in December, while mine is in June/July

(btw I'm sure you know all about that, they don't teach us so much about Australia's role in WW2)

They dont teach us much about Australia's role in WW2 in Australia either.

Its mostly WW1, the ANZACs and Gallipoli.

Not much in WW2, except Kokoda.

I learnt heaps about Australian's involvement in WWII. QLD just sucks with that.

Boo, Australia should of been taken over by Japan. Boo. You Americans ruin everything!

You should do something completely wacky as a talk. People get sick of hearing about fucking showjumping at every class talk.

Why not go to howstuffworks.com and look up something crazy like 'lock-picking' and claim that's your hobby. It'll be interesting, a little bit risque, and nobody will know a thing about it to ask you questions on.

Just a thought.

Alternatively if your assessor is male you could ensure yourself a good grade by claiming that your hobby is pole-dancing or burlesque.

*thumbs up* for your ideas, Dancing.

In answer to your gender question, my teacher is female, so I'm pretty sure those ideas are out

But I love the howstuffworks.com suggestion, I will definitely check it out!

Cheers! x

Methinks that a habit of breaking-and-entering probably isnt the best thing to tell people about...

True, but it will probably also get the Police's attention...

I'm not actaully trying to incite Debra to break into somthing here... just saying that it'd make a fascinating presentation that wouldn't bore the living crap out of everybody. Although if the police came to watch then I'm sure they would find it interesting too; it has something for all the family.
