I Have Corrosion.

Postby ADodgeStratus on Tue Mar 15, 2016 10:56 am

That's cancer to us cars. You probably call it corrosion, or rust. I'm dedicated to fighting this scourge and you should be too. To show your support, please find some rusty disgusting metal and fashion a ribbon out of it.

Thank you.

You will die of cancer, if you don't start playing some maps at CC.

Go see these guys. They will cure you.

Even though they do a lot of very high end stuff they are quite reasonably priced.

Is it cancer of the exhaust pipe? I hear that's a pretty painful way to go.

You're a Dodge ... get used to it.

My dad used to own a green Dodge truck. At one point it had to have a floorboard-ectomy. It managed to continue on for a number of years. Eventually it couldn't hold its engine. It's back side was surgically removed and served as a trailer. It was sold to someone and we lost touch, so it might still be living a hapy life on some farm.

In fact a lot of Dodges are like my grandmother. When she passed away, the heart was still functioning properly, wondering why everything else was failing. The frame is typically the first to go, and the engine lingers on, as opposed to a lot of other cars where the engines break down and the frame lingers on.

I'm so sorry to hear about that green Dodge truck. I guess we can't all be Opel Kadetts or Dodge trucks in their prime.

Um, with all due respect, I'm opening up about myself and sharing. It's very hurtful to be accused of doing this only to belittle others. I'd cry, I'm that upset, but that might add to the rust issues.

That's too bad about your wife. Did she have a protective undercoating?

I have a tiny patch of corrosion on the hinge side of my driver door. Talking less than half a centremeter square. Not sure what to do with it, as it is so hard to get to, and so small (but obviously will grow if I do nothing)
