So Holly Holm finally takes out the once thought to be invincible Ronda Rousey. I was not shocked but pleasantly surprised. I believe no one had given Ms. Rousey a fight before. I was eager to see how a rematch would turn out. If Ronda manages to get to grappling Holly would not fare well.
Unlike the audience who chanted, "Holly, Holly, Holly.." I like Miesha Tate more, but if Holly managed to get in and hit, I suspect Tate would have been dispatched much like Rousey.
Miesha did not let that happen. She used her skills and moved in to use her strengths to dominate Holm and eventually put her to sleep.
Reportedly Tate will have to defend her new title against Rousey. i am reasonably sure Rousey will dominate Miesha if they fight.
