Clinton feels the BERN!

Postby Bernie Sanders on Wed Jan 13, 2016 1:02 pm

Clinton is dropping in the polls and Bernie Sanders is ahead in the first 2 battleground states for delegates.

Looks like Bernie Sanders is not only gaining ground, but will be considered as a front runner. Hillary Clinton is getting so desperate, that she is using her daughter Chelsea to attack Bernie Sanders.

Since Independents seem to decide elections, most people I talk with would not vote for Hillary but would be more apt to vote Sanders. I'd vote for Sanders over Trump or Hillary...but if Hillary gets the nod, then I will be forced to vote Trump. Pity.

Hillary has been dropping in the polls the last couple of weeks. A Sanders victory in Iowa and New Hampshire will drive a lot of Clinton supporters to Bernie.

If Bernie wins, sell all your Banking stocks!

Did you hear what just happened in the "Land of Lincoln?" Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton is ineligible to appear on Illinois’s primary ballot, a petition filed with state officials on Wednesday claims.

Image PULL HER FINGER ...

The petition argues that thousands of signatures submitted to get Clinton’s name on the state’s primary ballot are invalid for a litany of reasons. As a result, it claims, Clinton’s signature total is under the 3,000 needed to qualify for a spot on the ballot.

A conservative super PAC explicitly opposed to Clinton’s candidacy is behind the petition, which was filed by Chicago resident Brant Davis with the Illinois State Board of Elections on Wednesday evening, just before the deadline for such challenges.

“Hillary Clinton violated rules that even Rod Blagojevich followed,” Dan Backer, who heads Stop Hillary PAC, the group that organized the petition, said in a statement. “The sheer number of defective registrants is a typical bit of Clinton sloppiness and their usual lack of respect for the law.”

So Bernie, you can thank the EVIL EMPIRE later ...

I'm very familiar with petition challenges. This petition challenge will be thrown out.

Anyone can file frivolous petition challenges to any candidate and not be punished in court to do so.

“The sheer number of defective registrants is a typical bit of Clinton sloppiness and their usual lack of respect for the law.”

At the National level, many people are recruited to get valid signatures of registered voters. Many errors result. This is usually a problem with ALL candidates and another reason why candidates get more signatures than are required.

SO am I Bernie, so am I.

I have to walk petitions in my ED for the Republicans. You expect challenges. If you don't do it right you expect them to be thrown out. That's why the common requirement is to get double the minimum required signatures so that even with challenges your petitions will get approved. I'm surprised that at the state level a few thousand would get her off of the ballot, but you Democrats are sloppy in that way.

You presume, that's not facts. Oh, and the Super Pac funding this partisan challenge: Stop Hillary PAC

If you want to make a bet, let's say a premium membership here? Clinton campaign will defeat the challenge, as everyone who knows politics in Illinois will tell you.

Hillary has a lot bigger worries than Bernie. The Bern said America is tired of hearing about her emails. The FBI on the other hand is not amused at all.

When Hillary became Sec of State, on her first day she got specific instructions from FBI agents on how to guard secret material and she signed an oath swearing to comply with all the laws regarding the safekeeping of State secrets.

At the moment the FBI has over 100 agents investigating not just Hillary's negligence but also the Clinton Foundation. The FBI isn't going to waste that much resources if there wasn't something there. A recently leaked email shows that Hillary herself ordered subordinates to remove the "classified" and "Top Secret" banners from emails before sending them over unsecured lines. This demonstrates the extent with which Hillary willfully disregarded the law.

To put this into perspective the DOJ prosecuted a sailor recently because he sent a selfie to his girlfriend that had a view of the sonar screen of the submarine. In Afghanistan a marine was prosecuted because when he warned his superiors of an Al-Qaida agent in a police uniform inside an American installation because he sent that warning via a g-mail account. The marine was prosecuted for espionage.
And let us not forget Gen David Petraeus prosecuted for mishandling classified material.

The FBI will fairly soon hand down a recommendation for indictment against Hillary Clinton, it's only a matter of time. When that happens the DOJ under Lynch will consult the White House to get orders on how to proceed. Obama could cover for Clinton and make this go away or he'll toss her under the bus.

If the former happens then we can go ahead and expect a massive data dump from the FBI to the public detailing their case against Hillary. The emails that have been leaked thus far have been leaked by the FBI. They've done this because if they didn't this would have all long ago been squashed. Getting the information of Hillary's mishandling of classified materials public has prevented those loyal to the Clinton Cabal from crushing the investigation. If Obama allows Hillary a pass on this when his administration has prosecuted so many others for far lesser offenses (which often are by accident as opposed to Hillary's blatant circumventing of the law) the FBI will revolt and release everything they have to the public.

Either way, Hillary is up a shit creek and Bernie redistributed her paddle.

Anyone who would vote of Hillary is a brain dead zombie voting for a criminal. Hopefully she'll go to prison though that is probably doubtful, I can at least take comfort in seeing her political career coming to an end for good. Hillary is just a train wreck.

Another pipe dream of Republicans, heh? Hillary ain't going to jail and there ain't 100 FBI agents investigating her. Where do you get this information. As far as her first day in office [Sec. of State] it was NOT ILLEGAL to have a private server. Yes, afterwards having a private server was wrong, but hardly a crime punishable by jail.

She was stupid and lazy in not keeping her emails [private and government] separate.

Again, where in the HELL do you get this information that Hillary Clinton personally ordered to have "classified" and "Top Secret" banners" removed? You should give your sources to the partisan hit squad called The Benghazi Committee, you'll surely be rewarded with a plum job in the Trump Administration.

Of course. IT takes a Super PAC to get the manpower and the motivation to go through all the horrible petition forms and weed out incorrectly filled out lines. Especially at the state level. If you are running at the town level you can grab a half dozen of your hard working supporters to do the task.

Personally I think it's a lot of crap, but that tends to be the law. Your signature has to be exactly as your name is appears on the registry, the address has to be exact and so forth.

Generally I err on the side that challenges will be approved; not all, but most.

The question of Hillary going to jail is ... complex. The sword must always be over her head but never wielded. The Foundation is, after all, a necessary evil. I do think there is still going to be a "surprise" sometime in the fall, especially if she has enough delegates to get the nomination. If Bernie gets enough delegates, it gets even more complicated because they can't pull off a brokered convention.

By the way, the "crime" isn't in the server itself, but what was on the server and the potential for deliberately sending extremely classified material on unsecured channels. There is a good chance that the FBI will recommend to the AG to indite. With enough foot dragging this might not happen until the worst / best (depends on who you are) moment.

Please note, this is not a pipe dream of Republicans. This is Chicago Politics at its finest.

Filing petitions to challenge a candidate is quite simple. I personally have filed frivolous challenges just to ridicule a candidate[s]. It helps discredit a candidate in some voters eyes.
