not so hard with Google, but here are a couple that might take a tad bit of thought:
OK, who were the sons of God? (note, I did not say "the son of God")
Also what is the relationship between our canonized Bible and the Da Vinci Code?

I was referring to the fact that the Da vinci code is based heavily upon the Gnostic texts. A major reason they decided to canonize the Bible was to refute the hugely popular Gnostics.Phatscotty wrote:very little, as they have evolved apart

The only thing "God" wrote was the ten commandments. He probably didn't even write them; he spoke and the words were written into the stone. After all, God spoke and lots of things happened.
Jesus, on the other hand, is recoded as writing something. What he wrote, however, was not recorded. And as it was in the ground, there is no chance we will ever know.

You realize that not every book in the Bible is the same, right? As in the Psalms are songs. It's like asking for the eyewitness to "Amazing Grace."
We can get into interesting discussions on some of the books, (like Jonah) but Psalms is a song book. (Alphabetically organized by the way by the Hebrew Alphabet by first lines.)

That depends.![]()
Most bibles are either "Catholic" / "Orthodox" or "Protestant" and the list of the books was pretty much written into stone several hundred years ago. But the actual evolution of the canon took centuries. There were once books in the list that are no longer on the list (The teaching of the twelve or the "Didache" was included in some lists nut never made the final cuts). Revelation (of John) missed a lot of the early cuts. Luther wanted to cut James from the list, but in the end decided not to. Even some books that made the original King James Bible wound up being cut in later editions.

Let's take the "LAW" as an example. There is Genesis (that's one book), Exodus (another book), Leviticus (still another book), Deuteronomy (one more book) and Numbers (the fifth "book"). Now technically they might be called a scroll but still they are commonly called "books." The common expression is "The Book of Genesis." When Daniel mentions not adding to the prophecies in "the book" he is referring to the Book of Daniel, not to the entire Law, Prophets and Writings. The "BIble" is a compilation of books, made possible to be placed in one volume by the printing press. Prior to that, the Bible was typically a lot of hand written books on the shelf.

Then the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
