that's where you didn't think about it long enough! muslim wearing turbans in america are therefore not american and quite suspicious. They are hiding something, probably a dirty secret.

Rather, the ones wearing Turbans tend to have another religion altogether  (apparently you missed that point?)

and apparently you missed the jest of our entire discussion.

Actually, many Muslims wear turbans. The Sikh turban is just one specific type of turban. There are many others, some Arabic, some Turkish, some Pushtun or Kurd.

I have a picture of a guy wearing a pink turban. He works in a market near me and has many different coloured turbans apparently. I don't know which religion he follows.

Does that color pink, match that hot pink outfit you're wearing?

It's similar to the guy's turban.

My guess would be the religion of the "bottle and pipe" ;) , but I might well be wrong......

Reminds me of when I saw someone with the last name of "Cloud" on a new crew list. I said,"He's probably just a Hippie ". He then walked in (had heard my comment) and told us he was Native American (a decendent of one of the famous chiefs, though my name-failing brain cannot remember which one) and asked me what that meant. I very quickly told him, "then that is your name, you earned it" (and definitely meant it!). He liked my response. We had a few conversations on that type of thing later.

From wiki-
Colours are often chosen to suit the occasion or circumstance: for example saffron, associated with valour or sacrifice (martyrdom), is worn during rallies; white, associated with peace, is worn by elders; and pink, associated with spring, is worn during that season or for marriage ceremonies.
