The Le Pen movement - Fascist or ... Papist?

Postby tzor on Wed Dec 16, 2015 10:25 am

I saw an interesting article in Brietbart recently ... EXCLUSIVE – Sarah Palin: Marion MarĆ©chal-Le Pen and 16 Centuries of Christian France. I'll just quote from the interesting parts.

Marion MarĆ©chal-Le Pen is the new deserved ā€œIt Girlā€ of French politics and a clear voice of courage and common sense in a country and continent in need of both.

In 2012, she earned the distinction of being France’s youngest elected Member of Parliament. Last week she handily won the first round of a race for the leadership of a large important region in southeastern France that’s home to the beautiful port city of Marseilles. Unfortunately, she lost the run-off election today because the two establishment Parties joined forces to defeat her.

Interesting. Young French Woman ... where have I heard this story ...

For some time now, I’ve admired the bold style of Marine Le Pen, who wrestled control of the leadership of her populist party in order to purge it of any trace of anti-Semitism, which it had unfortunately been tainted with in the past. But I’m especially impressed with the courage of her young niece who is a devout Catholic and unapologetically pro-life – not an easy thing for a politician to be in a country that’s aggressively secular.

More importantly, young Marion MarĆ©chal-Le Pen is unashamed to champion France’s Judeo-Christian identity and heritage as something worth preserving and fighting for. She publicly proclaims it, setting an example for even American politicians to be so bold. With France (and indeed all of Europe) caught up in an existential crisis against radical Islam, these are the sentiments they need in their leadership.

This is important and interesting. I'm still hearing how Glen Beck associates her party with European Fascism (Fascism is SOCIALIST). But she has been purging anti-Semitism from the party. So is the movement still fascist or is it actually ... (gasp) Catholic?

Secular France would probably be more scared of the later than the former, after all they fought a bloody war against the later (the French Revolution).

Mark Twain believed patriotism was personified in the story of a young French woman who ā€œfound a great nation lying in chains, helpless and hopelessā€ and led it ā€œfrom victory to victoryā€ until it was free. ā€œWith Joan of Arc love of country was more than a sentiment – it was a passion,ā€ Twain wrote. ā€œShe was Patriotism embodied.ā€

If she is the modern Joan, one thing is for sure ... The English will screw her.

Needless to say ... Taylor Millard strongly disagrees. Apparently she isn't "Conservative" enough for them. NEWFLASH. No one is "conservative" in Europe. No one.

amazingly, you manage to always prove you're even more of a giant idiot than I thought tzor.
First, get back to colouring books if you really can't make the difference between socialism and national-socialism.

Marion marechal-le pen is a 25yo blonde racist and ultra catholic trash with 0 experience that just happens to be someone's grand daughter and somebody else's niece.... if for you that is good enough to find that shithead inspiring, well, why am I not surprised.

go f*ck yourselves you american integrists. You are as worthless as muslim integrists and can't even see it.

Well, go ahead and school me. I'm all eyes.

I'm not sure if the difference is that between scotch and water vs scotch and soda or if it is akin to the bigendien / littleendian wars on how to break an egg.

how is age not a factor???? what kind of experience do you expect someone to have to govern a region? Would an 18yo sound fine to you?
Do you really think she's there because she deserved it after hard work and a climbing up the political ladder, or because she is a Le Pen?
The blonde thing is because she's kind of hot and young idiots vote for her because they think she's hot. so yes, I don't think it's not an argument to vote for someone.
Her religion? yes, obviously, if she is using religious purpouses to get votes that is fucked up, at least in my country. Your religion is your own fucking business and no one wants stupid proselitism.

My islamic overlord.... buy yourself a forest and get lost in it. If you can't understand that moderate people can make the difference between a muslim integrist and a regular tolerant muslim, and that those people are the first victims of the terrorists, well there's nothing I can do to help you.

I generally would not want anyone who hasn't a fully grown frontal lobe, so mod 20's is probably the earliest. Of course most people expect those 18 year old people to power their military complexes.

betiko wrote:Do you really think she's there because she deserved it after hard work and a climbing up the political ladder, or because she is a Le Pen?

Personally, I absolute the notion of "she deserved it." That is the argument of the civil service bureaucracy. A name can only take you so far. See "Jeb Bush."

betiko wrote:The blonde thing is because she's kind of hot and young idiots vote for her because they think she's hot. so yes, I don't think it's not an argument to vote for someone.

NEWS FLASH: NIXON LOOSES TO KENNEDY. In the age of TV, hot people have an advantage. Still "blonde" denotes "stupid" and not just hair color.

betiko wrote:Her religion? yes, obviously, if she is using religious purpouses to get votes that is fucked up, at least in my country.

Everyone has a "religion" even if they don't call it as such. By the way, what is a "purpuoses" ... did you mean "principles?"

betiko wrote:My islamic overlord.... buy yourself a forest and get lost in it.

I hate forests, actually. But I'll give you this one bit of advice. "Moderate" (seriously, ask a Muslim and they will say that there is no "moderate" nor "radical" there is only a "Muslim" it's not "Fifty Shades of Muslim" here) Muslims generally don't have a problem when radicals take a nation full Islamic. They are not the ones who have to pay the tax. They are not the ones who have their weapons confiscated. Yes, they won't actively promote the culture, but since they have not been assimilated into yours they won't mind having theirs imposed on everyone else.

You will never see the so called "moderates" wage war against the "radicals" ... even though it is still just as bad for them as it is for everyone else.

well i'd still like to see you buy yourself a forrest.
Have you ever been to france? how well do you know french society other than the shit you watch on fox news? I got people in my family married to muslims and I have muslim friends, with high education.
They have a very high opinion of France and and it's laicity, and feel great shame about what happened. They want french islam to take responsability and stop playing the victim, and take care of their black sheeps.

Now go vote for uncle Bernie.

I'll submit to you that Christianity is the same. You're either Christian, or you're not. Oh, but you'll tell me all about the nuances of Christianity, Catholicism compared to Protestants, Lutherans or Baptists, Quakers or Grace Christians, Mennonites and Amish or the young person who self identifies as Christian despite having 2 kids from different partners and getting stoned 4 days a week while showing up at church once every 3 months. You don't think Muslims have the same issues, different sects, different levels of commitment? They're as human as Christians are tzor. Nothing is black and white. I was raised in a very Christian setting, and I'll say that I know very few people who were as Christian as the people I grew up with. Does that mean no one else is Christian? Hardly. But you're speaking about things you know nothing of, and displaying your complete ignorance on the topic.

Don't believe me? Go visit Albania, and get to know some Muslims there.
Then go to Sunni Iraq, and learn about how they practice their religion.
Now go to the Shia part of Iraq, and learn how different they are yet again.

It's all the same religion, but the variances will surprise even you, if you care to learn.

Btw, my neighbors are Muslims. They're from Pakistan. They also have Christmas lights up on their house. Are you going to go tell them they aren't Muslim? Because in your world, they can't be.

Bollocks in 2015.

OH please give me a break. I don't know if a greater bunch of racist sexist bigots than in the Democratic Party, including and especially YOU.

I'm trying to wrap my head around your statement given the fact that Sarah is only four years my younger and was getting close to AARP eligibility when she was selected for the VP slot. But if you want to throw in "Blondes" what about Debbie Wasserman Schultz (WHO IS TWO YEARS YOUNGER THAN SARAH)?

I have a lot of comments about her, but never, I repeat never, "slutty."

OH I'm going to throw in a NOT BLONDE here, Nancy Pelosi's daughter ... Christine Pelosi.

Why not? Us folks born in the 60's have to stick together, you know.

Why can't you appreciate them for their MINDS, not their BODIES.

I think that after she got confused when a reporter asked her which newspapers she read, and that was considered a hard question by her handlers, appreciating her mind is a big ask.

People get confused all the time. Remember Obama and the 57 states? Oh God, how the right was going bonkers with all sorts of looney conspiracy theories at the time. (The correct number was actually 48, by the way, his travel budget eliminated Alaska and Hawaii and he had "one more state to go.")

Well, you're not the United States, who once elected a serial rapist into the office of President of United States and who at this very moment, wants to elect the facilitating wife of the former cocaine abusing serial rapist.
