How would he do it? Does the President make immigration law? Or would you prefer he take executive action to "fix" immigration?
I don't think the President has the power to impose a moratorium on Muslim immigration but I'm not very familiar with it.

It seems to me that Trump is just saying what he needs to get elected by appealing to people as block headed as he is. You might have a point about ending up one of the best Presidents ever. It's not like other past great President's haven't said some pretty nutty things after all.

<shrugs>

Hell of a choice, a blustering blowhard Trump or the criminal Hillary. I find it chuckle worthy that people spout out how evil Trump is but ignore the blatant criminality of Hillary and the evil she's done. From fraud, perjury, solicitation of bribes, abuse of office, insider trading, theft (everyone's forgotten about that one! Hahaha!) and a multitude of other scandals involving all sorts of other misdeeds and abuses.

No one bats an eye.
Any of us regular people ever did half the stuff she did we'd be sent straight to prison. Hillary gets to run for office and people will still vote for her and wag their finger at people who would vote for Trump.

I say make Trump President just for the lulz. Imagining the collective groan of the Statists makes me laugh. Besides, any dignity the office of President ever had was long lost back in Bill "body shot" Clinton days...

The mayors around the US may be able to poster angrily about "banning" Trump from their cities but McCain is flat out banned from ever stepping foot on another US Navy Aircraft Carrier...and with good reason! The dumbass blows stuff up on the flight deck!

Wait, what??!?!?! Of the time I've spent reading your posts, a substantial percentage of them, well over 50%, have been how Obama did something bad (you won't even deign to say President Obama). I can only hope beyond hope that you're realizing that, apart from foreign policy and executive branch "legislation" (both of which are substantial powers, by the way), Congress has to act for anything to get done in any substance. Maybe someday you will also acknowledge that presidents (including Republican presidents) don't have far reaching control of the economy. I pray for this every day.

If we include the numbers in all this Trump talk...

How many Americans and non-Americans will be affected by Trump proposal? Not many, wast majority will not even notice the difference.
How many Americans will be affected if event like 9/11 repeat again? ALL, every single one.

Numbers said the verdict.
Even a little kid knows whats the name of my country... http://youtu.be/XFxjy7f9RpY

President's get blamed when economies go bad, is it fair? Of course not.
Also, President's take the praise when economies go well don't they?

How many times have you heard Obama (or past Presidents if you wish) say "Under my leadership the economy has improved, peace and prosperity reign despite <the opposition's> best efforts to thwart and hinder my progress"?

The myth of Presidents effects on the economy is perpetuated by President's themselves often enough.
Is that a fair thing to say?

Of course it's fantasy land, and every single presidential candidate from both parties are all explaining how they'll "fix the economy". So we are going to elect someone who is either a complete liar or is delusional and living in fantasy land. And we keep electing them! What's the reelection rate? Some obscene rate if I remember correctly.
And they are all fucking nutjubs.
