Can't play my set of cards [Answered]

I looked all over the forum and could not find anything that helped me with this question. Sorry if it is a repeat.

I have had this happen to me a couple of times.
I took a player out and got his cards and it will not let me play them. Why?

I made a set when I took him out.
Is there a new rule that I have missed or what?

you will only be able to play the set as soon as you take him out if the new cards mean that you will go over the limit of 5. For example, if you have 2 cards and take out a player with 4 cards you get 6 so you have to play a set straight away otherwise you will be over limit. If you have 2 cards and the opponent has 1, you take him out and the three make a set, you can't play them then as you are still within your limit, you have to wait until your next turn.
