In my opinion, it looks more foolish to stick with a vote you are no longer convicted in. If you really don't want to lynch him, change your vote. If you think we should lynch an inactive, build as much of a case as exists on an inactive and then try to get others to vote with you. I for one could be talked into switching to cyan. If Tim was more interested in defending himself, I'd say cyan would be the best target in that he posts occasionally as to avoid being replaced, but he hasn't really said a thing about the game. Also, as ragian said, we should not decide who you investigate and announce it because of how many ways it could be messed with then. In fact I think it looks good on streaker for saying this, and poor on pt and pixar for advocating it. Although pt, why just 90% on streaker? Who is your other 10%?

@pix, he wouldn't have to mafia cop, as scum would know who is and isn't scum without investigation (unless multiple factions, which appears unlikely)

IF I am wrong so be it but I don't think I am, let the other players lynch who they feel is scum and if you think you are going to get hung then you can always tell us who you are and we will take it from there.we could believe you and go back after cyan for his lack of posts.

How can you agree with mitch 100% and then accuse streaker of being defensive when mitch's post is basically telling him to claim? There is defending yourself when the focus comes on you, and then there is what Tim did: claiming with minimal pressure and basically giving up. In my opinion, streaker's method of defense is much more town than Tim's. It seems that some people are focusing on claims way too much, they should used as only a last resort of defense, otherwise why not just have a massclaim straightaway? It appears that scum were given fakeclaims, and even with dakky's stumbling, they could have been given roles to go along with the names, so making even a reasonable claim should not be insta-town. This is part of the reason I think Tim is scum, you need to focus on reads. A claimed vanilla town that plays like scum is probably scum.

Also, I feel the need to say this as I see a lot of "if player X flips town, then player Y must be scum". This works to some extent in one direction in that two scum will likely not have a large dispute where it mostly becomes one or the other is the lynch. However, town have no way of knowing who is and isn't scum, so it could easily happen that a town pushed another town really hard. Just keep that in mind after we get some flips.

White Rose are you the doublevoter? If not Cyan has just been lynched.

Congratulations guys, how about you actually ask questions next time. Lynching someone without attempting to gain evidence is the stupidest thing you can do.

Mitch soft claims cop, and the first thing that Tim wants to do based on that claim is lynch the cop first, and then the target he cleared as town.
Unfortunately, as white rose was all over me at that time, I was focusing all my attention to that and I missed this gem of a post.

This post from Ragian (my biggest town read atm) also confirms the suspicion on Tim (and cyan) thus alligning our reads:

I think Tam's post is suspicious. Surely match is claiming cop as straeker points out. That he's a fool about it isn't indicative about his alignment. I've played with loads of players that are so keen on helping that they jump their respective guns. The suggestion that we lynch match in order to see if the whate ruse is scum is kind of a gamble at this stage. I'm keeping an eye on him.

However, I wanted this yesterday. Now, I want it more: Vote cyan Did nothing yesterday. I think he's a great candidate for a first claim of today. Tam would be my second choice.

@Madmitch - Listen to Rage. Do not claim your cop check target. Even if you dont hit mafia with your investigate, a town result is still useful information to have. This is your strongest game by a long way, so keep it up.

@Rose - I have no qualms if Tim is hammered. I only want to make it clear that to do so is denying us the opportunity for further discussion without Kratos having posted properly D2 and three more days to go till deadline. If anyone decides to hammer they need to carefully consider why they are doing so. So no I will not unvote.

I have had this feeling that Streaker has been mirroring my actions in game. He has done this to me before and it completely blindsides my read on him.

What I want is more information from which to conduct D3. Is this a town move? (Note: I am well aware that its a town move so it really means little in reference to myself as I'd do it whatever my alignment, but nevertheless)

Tim being hammered prior to Kratos posting by someone who understands that Kratos hasnt posted gains us knowledge of someones potentially non-town interests.

Both have the same intentions. I'm am treating this as a beginners game and will not babysit others to avoid making silly mistakes. If someone chooses to hammer for no reason, then they will suffer and it will hurt town, but they will learn from it.

Same as if you are genuinely town, remind me at game end to show you some game examples of mafia hammering/voting against their partner in spectacular style. You have acted nieve to this idea all game. Teaching is more important to the me than the game result in this game.

I see no reason to just off Tim and let the non-contributors ride for free another day. We have until Friday. Talking is good, but voting is also important since it shows where people stand. Also, if someone "accidentally" hammers someone, we have that as information for D3. I don't think Wing should remove his vote.

Just a gut feeling. Ive seen streaker play exactly like this before and he was mafia. I have been in Tims shoes and done what Tim did. Do I condone it...No fin way as Ive learned, however I still think Tim doesnt get the game and I think we all know that. That being said, the push by streaker on him second and white rose first just reminds me of tendency. In my gut I believe hes mafia. There is a book called "Blink" which discusses intuition and that 95% of the time your gut instinct is right. So far in this game my gut has been right about scum and I have let them slip through my fingers....No way jose this time. If Tim flips town I emplore everyone to lynch streaker day 3
