High Stakes 1 on 1's

Postby Syzygy on Fri Jun 01, 2007 8:05 am

What I'm thinking is that 1 on 1 games should have the option to increase the stakes.

I.e. You can gain or lose up to double or even triple the points.

This would be an option when starting the game of course. You'd just tick a box and your game will be tagged as a high stakes game.

Priority: 3ish

I would really like this, but it would be way too easy to cheat with it. So it probably won't not be implemented

thats a good idea - adds to the idea of it being a duel. Add a poll question to see what others think.

That would be cool. But you could decide how many points to wager against the opponent. You just type in a number when starting the game. Max 100 points or something.

Unfortunately it may be fun, but a wager option I think has too many drawbacks with cheating.

This seems like it would encourage more and more, something we don't want to do. :)

I would rather this didn't happen anyway, I can imagine myself gambling all my points, followed by my house in a duel :P

I think a quote is in order here -

Sadly true. You just need to come down harder on the cheaters then.

(Maybe once the problem isn't so bad...(If that ever happens.))
