Yes, if a setup was there I would read it, it is important to read the OP so you have all possible information it contains, and so you know the rules.

Speaking of which, there is a rule in the OP now about how anyone who does not vote by the deadline, if we reach it, gets modkilled, I believe.

that was about as helpful as i thought it would be lol... i think it would make me more likely to read the set up at the start.. there wasnt much to investigate at that time so surely you would at least check it out... just trying to work out why tim wouldn't bother to read it, as cop or mafia you have extra info and more of a reason to look at it... maybe lol..

I would, but there is no conceivable way of concretely determining that outside of specific roles designed to investigate the nature of other people's roles, and those don't usually indicate the target's alignment, ONLY the nature of their role.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think it's dependent on personality as well. Some people like to read and prepare, others just jump in.

I would normally not mention this, specifically, but this is correct. Rule nr. 14. If you didn't vote by deadline, you will be modkilled.

As a teacher I am probably supposed to say that there is no such thing as asking stupid questions but to be honest I beg to differ :lol:

Seriously though, take your time Rizky (but keep the deadline in mind) and ask everything you think is necessary to be able to make up your mind.

I don't know why risky is asking the question about being the cop and checking the set up. Is that because you're trying to figure out why Tim made the comments on D1 about the setup, risky? I have to admit, when he said that he had it narrowed down to 2 scenarios, his soft claim, I initially read that as a town trying to give us info.

If Tim is town. . .

The only person who's pushed Tim hard today is skw. If this was a frame job, I would have expected at least two people to be pushing on him a lot harder than we've seen. Not many votes have been thrown his way, no one hammered when they had the chance (granted it was a short window), and for the most part people seem reluctant to finally pull the trigger on the claimed cop. If he's town, skw is my primary suspect but I'm not sure who else would be a suspect. I think you could make something against risky in this scenario and maybe mitch. But Tim flipping town would clear Boss at the least.

If Tim is scum. . .

I think this is actually harder. It doesn't clear boss and his partner could be pretty much anyone. You could maybe say that skw is more town because he's been unwavering in his intent to lynch Tim. Tim's partner could very easily bus him today as most of the discussion the entire game has been about Tim.

i only asked because i dont know which way to go and i have to put my vote in soon as i wont be around at the cut off.. so i was just wondering what was more likely, basically just to tie all the stuff at the start to something... whatever i do is gonna be the wrong decision

so what are you suggesting epi that we vote tim or not... im confused lol..

i really dont know about mitch... his posts have been minimal and for the most part all over the place and whenever someone makes an argument on someone he is very quick to vote for them

Risky, I understand you're new, but it seems like you're not even reading some of these posts. A lot of us are on the fence about Tim and trying to talk through the implications of lynching him or letting him live, and the implications of if he flips town or scum.

Yes I read the posts and I have been debating the same thing I don't know if we should vote tim or not which is why I asked which way u were leaning after talking out the scenarios as I have to decide soon..

I was leaning away from my suspicions on u after the points I made against u before but now bringing me in to the mix just for asking a question seems weird..

well thats just great... why did you have to come across so scummy tim i really hoped you were bluffing... guess thats pretty much what we thought would happen if tim was telling the truth... now we are majorly stuffed..

so... epi i already had suspicions on, but i didnt pursue it because pt was so sure epi was town that i was thinking maybe tim was bluffing and pt was cop and trying to tell us he had looked in to epi without actually telling us... but thats out the window now so i dont know if epi is scum, if they are partners or if pt is just trying to get ppl on his side because he is scum

if epi is scum then pt is most likely partner... he has had suspicions on skw, and mitch is willing to say epi is his suspect so guessing he isnt his partner
if pt is scum then its most likely epi or skw.. mitch has been mentioned as suspicious
if skw is scum then most likely pt.. he has voted mitch, and is on epis suspect list

lol according to my theory the scummiest player mitch might actually be innocent.... which works out considering tim was scummy and town hmmm... oh boy lol

pt and epi both experienced so could run the tim framing plan but it might be too obvious with pt being so set on epi being town so maybe skw... but maybe thats what im supposed to think..

whoever it is well played sirs... we got rid of aage an experienced player who had some good input, you killed raz who also has played several games, and you convinced us to kill our own cop lol

just posting a few notes for now.... will go through it all again tomorrow and try form some arguments

That's so frustrating.

We have a 40% chance of getting this right today. No one bring anyone to L-1 until we are sure we want to pursue a lynch--the scum just need to quick hammer 1 person to end this whole thing.

I'd like to hear everyone's top suspects and we need to hear a lot more from ptolwe. He's been awol for the past few days--sounds like he's traveling, but still I'd like to hear his thoughts.

The first two that come to mind are skw for pushing on Tim so hard without much deliberation and risky for the reasons I stated at the end of the day (basically, either not reading our posts or not wanting to take too hard of a position on anyone but apparently me).

Those aren't full cases, but just gut feelings off the top of my head. At this point, I'm considering everyone but I'll need a re-read. I really don't like that ptolwe has been so quiet, I was liking him on D1.

So, it doesn't help that both hammers were townies. Looks like mitch and skw were on both lynches fwiw.

skw's votes both stick out to me. On the first one, he collaborated with boss and they voted back to back. And then his vote on Tim was the lone vote for most of the day.

In all fairness, I think Skw's post on Tim was good. There was so much going against Tim yesterday that he seemed like a very reasonable suspect. For that matter, I agree with a lot of skw's posts--so, I might be back to the drawing board. But I couldn't help but think of him first going into today.

. . .I'm going to re-read ptolwe next.

noone has really had much to say on pt so i am interested to see what you come up with epi... i was suspicious of him early with skw because they both pushed tim hard and led the whole power claim theory which like i mentioned in my post i was unsure about the whole role thing so i didnt know if they were making tim look scummy and exaggerating it or not.. i will have to read the whole thing again tomorrow but i cant really recall much interaction between the two of them except in the beginning with the joke vote and where they took separate sides in the mitch/aage argument which is a good plan to keep us from thinking they are partners..

Aage-overreacted to small spotlight on himself. Seems to be very aggressive when pressed even a little bit. Hasnt really made much headway on reads and hasnt offered too much. Leaning scum still.
rizky-......like the activity. Seems like how a first game towny would act.
Tim- High Scum read. And he’s dubiously sneaky. His posts are getting worse. I have a hard time understanding him at all.

also find it weird that he gives subtle a way out for lack of posts but yet has pushed other ppl to post more...

i have suspicions on everyone epi.. i think thats where we need to be right now.. so yes i listed a few things earlier as to why we should look at you, partly because i thought they could be true and partly to see if anyone pushed.. but i also questioned skw around the same time so wasn't really going hard after you
