I think this is interesting. I don't know if the mafia would be darkfriends and shadowspawn, or if it would go for more important named villains, like Baalzamon, Aginor, Balthamel, and Padan Fain. Also, possible to have Mordeth as a 3rd party (Fain could also potentially fall into the 3rd party category, but I feel like that would be in later books more than EotW).

I can see the argument for considering HotShot as being with mafia, but I'm currently of the opinion that he's town.

I did not know I was playing anything,for the whole beginning of this game nothing even related to the story line was even said ,so how the hell does someone know who is who

You dont, and you dont need to.

You need to work out who is mafia and who is town. And whilst you're doing that it is helpful to know what powers everyone has. Their character name in itself is not important in itself.

I will make this observation. I have not played much with you Mitch but from what I have seen you are usually flippant/offthewall/cocoo with your posts. You have gotten very defensive very quickly.

I have no idea who Mars is talking about either as I have read none of the books nor know anything about the universe.

It does however not take a rocket scientist to understand what he means.

I never said my vote was "stolen", I just said it's "controlled" by someone else... I actually got something in exchange for it. So I don't think the vote is controlled by scum, but the person who has it probably is declining to claim it to prevent attraction to themself,

Also, if the controller is not Madmitch, then the likely characters all have quite long wiki articles so probably useful to town and this is just a small part of their role.

Hmm. It really depends on what he got out of it. I can only think of one town-aligned character who could do that but it would be really weird for that character to do it, but there's also that 3rd party I mentioned who, if you take something from them, they corrupt you, so it's more likely to be that if not the actual mafia. But I don't know why a 3rd party would get a vote stealer.

Unless it's also the kind of thing where one character interacted with a specific character, which caused that reaction (and the person who controls your vote wouldn't control anyone else's). If it's town, flavour-wise it's either a warder bond (likely town), a gift from Mordeth (scum/3rd party), or some weird character dynamic. But I'm more inclined to believe it's one of the first two.

How does this help us find the mafia? If you dont start contributing to games you will find that you get lynched day one regardless. I say this now because I believe you to have a minor town role and to be of minimal loss to us. If I cant find a decent candidate to vote I shall be advocating that you get lynched on this basis.
