I like DD's most recent posts, and his case on Endgame. Though with what happened today End's never getting lynched today.

My power directs the player's actions against each other. I googled my spell and got this:

'To cast it, one must point their wand directly at the person or thing that must be confused and incant, "Confundo". If one is casting the charm on multiple targets, they must point their wand at each individual target in turn and incant once for every individual target.'

Source:

http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Confundus_Charm

One more time, for clarity: The 2 players I selected, use any powers they have on the other player. The spell activates once 2 players are under the spell.

As per strike's view, here are my thoughts on another player currently not under investigation:

Talapus comes in (haven't seen much of him yet) and makes 2 posts containing very little apart from flavour discussion. Half of his post is dedicated to how Dobby should never be a VT, or even in this game. Also manages to skim past the part where we already lost our vig. He dismisses all that happened as 'too confusing' (which it is), but it's not a reason to stay clear of the situation.
It's just a strange 2 posts, as they completely ignore the issues at hand.

Didn't skim at all I saw that. Was hoping someone with a one shot or ability to take care of it would see. The fact it was merely a suggestion and you seem to take it as a blanket fact that I'm counting everything on it though is odd.....especially with your two cents you gave no option, how nice for you.

And I certainly didn't stay clear of anything, I said I was voting for Rag obviously but waiting for a claim. Don't want him rushed bandwagoned against before hearing something I'm sure will amuse us all. Pretty sure I said I was waiting on that too but is ok if you'd like to call me out for skimming when obviously it is you who is doing so...lol

My logic in bandwagonning is as simple now as it was then.
I tried to push a case(D1 was dd and D2 was MP) which noone was behind so i jumped on one of the 2 possible lynches. In both cases i voted for who of the 2 seemed like scum to me.
Not sure what else you expect from me.
And as to rolefishing i specifically asked the 2 OPENLY CLAIMED ROLES(pix, deg) to tell us thier NAs.
What am i fishing for? Information we all have anyways?
And honestly im guessing the people who were not on either wagon are much more likely scum then those who were on both.
Why would scum push the pershy lynch when they knew a town/3rd party player was on the block D1(deg had claimed an investigative role)?
Today ill likely be voting for ragian but serious suspicion on dd for pushing a lynch on me(including his vote) when we basically have a confirmed scum here.
Also talapus suggesting the vig hit me is very strange.
What vig? Pretty sure we lost our vig(snape) and scum has one murder and one poisoner. Hence 1 death N1 and 2 deaths last night.
Not thinking this is scummy but just wondering why he thinks there is a vig.

I'd think there would have to be someone out there with a one shot vig ability. Again though, I listed three options with that as the best. FYI just because people don't like a case you put on someone isn't the best reason to jump on any other vote out there.

Rag is in the forum reading though so we may have a claim soon.

Sorry, very rough time at work with all students having exams and me going out as external examiner and shit. I'm hoping to check in at least a couple of times a day.

--- Holy hell, now the wagon is started on me ---

I put stuff in a spoiler below that I was typing as I read through. Now for my claim:

I am Albus Dumbledore. And deg is right in one thing, I used a spell last night on mets. But I used a spell called Lumos on mets in order to see his alignment. I mistrusted mets the most yesterday. Therefore my choice. I used the same spell on stor N1. I get "town" - "non-town" answers.

I can also use an aresto spell to block someone and another spell that I can only use once. That one doesn't have a name, though. I've been asking epi about it and it can kill my target unless they have a way of shielding themselves from it.

Will read the rest of your pages later today...

You may be right about vote jumping but town has to vote in force. Fucking 12 to lynch?
More then half each wagon has certainly been town so lynching me or anyone for bandwagoning seems like some weak sauce to me.

Damn, I didn't even chuckle at that punchline...disappointing.

How in the hell did you read the spell cast by Rag as what you did when he claims he cast something entirely different? I don't think any player would be dumb enough to claim dumbledore unless they were actually that role as I highly doubt mod would give it as fake claim. So unless the real Dumbledore would like to step up and refute Rag's claim we need to figure out more about how these spells are recognized.

Are you sure you didn't get a reading on a spell that was cast Rag's direction? Or did Rag just get the ultimate fake claim to win mafia?

So in short, you are calling degaston a liar?
Ok what I'd like to do is this: lynch Ragian (not bying the dumbledore claim, Lumos seems a strange choice for him), and confirm Degaston as town (or not). Additionally, it would give us information if mafia have the 'big name' fake claims.

I mean really, deg saw him use cruciatus. It's the nr. 2 unforgivable curse. The lynch gives a lot of information.
Very much dislike how he ignores the cruciatos part.

Also ignores wolf's post about mets saying he was being crucio'd.

FP'd twice.

I'd like to emphasize the importance of lynching the claimed dumbledore, we've had some serious big claims on most of the scummy players here. It would give us a whole lot of information...

Actually forgot 1 thing, as Talapus mentioned: it would be crazy if it's a huge ass gamble by mafia claiming dumbledore. He could indeed be counterclaimed. That would be awesome lol

OMG so much yes, right? It would be flipping hilarious if he was counterclaimed and go down in the halls of mafia lore. Maybe if we are just patient enough we will still get the biggest laugh out of this whole mess...lol

What is the name of your killing spell Rag?

I will note that Lumos was used as the watch spell but I suppose there is no guarantes that spells are specific for use.

Complete BS.... why use lumos (town vs anti-town) on Storr; a claimed non-town role?

Ragian is an easy lynch today... but still plenty of time left before we need to go there.

Talapus wrote:Wow, there are truely guesses all over the place with the message storr recieved. I will throw in my two cents and start a post there I guess.

First, I find it unlikely he would have made it up. Why the heck the one main guy who people have had all sorts of suspicions on, have listened to as he helped sway minds for votes on others, and has actively claimed not town, come out and claim something that just brings more attention to him? That makes zero sense so not sure why others would even entertain the notion he is making it up unless he is just an idiot.

Second, there is all this talk of bus driving and possibilities, but honestly there is just too much confusion to even know if these are plausible ideas, or so far out there we are literally giving ourselves a reach around to make sense of it. My question is if storr found it(Which as the creep wondering the halls of Hogwarts totally fits) why wasn't something done? I mean Harry is alive, Streaker is still with us, no mention in the start of day of a fight or battle? Almost sounds like the message never got to where it was meant to go or someones night action stopped it from reaching intended target.

If anything it got Steaker to claim and kinda showed that storr is sort of on town's side even though he kind of has a record that shows he votes and pushes the wrong people. But I guess my question for storr is when you say "you got a message last night"....did you actually recieve this from someone, find it in the hallways, over hear this or what? Sorry if I missed it but rereading 10 pages in a hurry to put in my two cents on this fast day and may have overlooked this part.

simply i received a msg

I never said that you used it on mets. I don't get information about who it is used on.

Ragian wrote:Alright, so the scene says that mets was tortured. Is that why someone brought up cruciatus? The HP wiki says something about it being very painful. But why would scum (since it says on wiki that volde casts it, I reckon it's scum that used it) not use it D1, then?
Actually, because investigations are applied before kills, the read I got was about the spell you cast on night 1. Mets was apparently aware that he had been cursed (according to strike), but it apparently acts like poisoning, so it did not kill him until night 2. I don't know what spell you cast on night 2.

FYI, with Albus Dumbledore as a fake claim, this means imo we should be relooking past claims.
So its very likely one of harry/ron/Hermione are mafia.

@sempai, please try casting your vote. I know you said you couldn't, but i would like to see the mod not record it. thanks
