im done defending / attacking, i made my points, and if you dont see it yet you probably wont ever. not gonna waste more time then i already did on convincing town to vote on scum.

next game new chances.

I suspect that HS is waiting to see whic one of us votes first and if we are wrong will hammer.

While I KNOW mafia is between two groups I am more sure Stor is Town over HS then Strike vs Virus though now I am leaning virus.

I knew anything I posted the last couple days would only hurt the argument between strike/virus, so I was purposefully scummarizing... so yes, I was waiting until either you or storr voted virus, if you both voted strike we pretty much lost, so I could only hurt the cause posting anything until the hammer.

Not going to bother with flavour, that was not the purpose of this game.

So, what are everyone's thoughts on the game? I hope everyone had a good time, as that is the real purpose of this game. It is really difficult convincing other people of your own thoughts, without any real role powers to back up your theories.

All town were VT, mafia had 1 roleblock who focused on Storrzerg all game.
Special thanks to strike_wolf for replacing crasp, it was no easy task.

I did find it strange that mafia won this game, and even with both members still alive. Strange because a LOT of the VT's were actually dead on in their reads on HotShot53, and even crasp/sw.

And finally, to close things down: is there interest in more games, maybe someone else willing to host a small game?

New here - but the bit I found interesting reading through, is that nobody picked up on Mtam getting taking out by the Mafia after voting day 1 for Hotshot, and day 2 for Strike. The Mafia's choices of killings didnt seem to be discussed at all, which seems odd to me.

It was brought up and him being fixated on hotshot was part of it but I was thinking more along the lines that IB was less stubborn than Mtam than "Hes onto me!" Since his case boiled down to process of elimination.

I was pretty sure I had to sell out Hotshot on the last day or they would find it suspicious but at the same time I'm just thinking "Please don't realize that lynching him may actually be the best option. Please don't realize it."

I admit this wasn't my best game. I feel good about coming back day three and bullshitting my way to a Virus lynch but before that my play was up and down. If I had really been at the top of my game I would have probably suggested to Hotshot that we go ahead and start working out our fake claims N1. then he could have realistically switched off Legion for Virus and claimed Day 3 that Storr (or other likely candidate) was scum and Legion was town with a cop claim. It wouldn't have been infallible, Storr is both stubborn and intelligent and stubborn can be even more important than intelligence at getting people not to lynch you in this game (Rodion in Terminator Mafia taught me that) but It would have been a realistic explanation for why Hotshot had laid low Day 1 and 2, left the option of bussing him open for me and only needed it to last the day.

I will say to Virus that I had no idea if there was a cop and doc or just VTs in this game when I claimed cop. It was a gamble and thankfully it paid off but I was extremely worried about being counter-claimed particularly by Storr who had been acting off during the early part of the game possibly because of a power role that he had.

yeah well done strike, i tried my best convincing them of the truth but they preferred your lies

cop was a reasonably save claim, you knew there was a role blocker so that was a 50 - 50, besides so far no powerroles died so probably all VT i also already claimed VT. so the last possibility was both IB and STorr being cop and doc. well thats kind of improbable.

I picked you out because you

A. Were not looking like a likely lynch possibility
B. Were not linked to me or Hotshot.
C. Did not look like the obvious townie who might draw doc protection.

So basically because in the morning when you wound up dead, no one would be able to make heads or tails of why you were killed.

I agree, that was a safe bet.

I confess that mafia did a very good job hiding on D1. By the end of the day, I was actually getting suspicious of Iron Butterfly for sounding too much like town :-)

I will say this.I DID have it figured out. I let Stoor plant that seed of doubt. Hah.

Strike good job. BUT you had a tell that made me suspect and that I will hold on to for future use if we play again. I was never 100% sure DUH...what sealed it was Virus. Man I have never played with a Town that acted so scummy. Hind site is 20/20 but It made me suspect as well...though not enough to say something...when Virus put his vote back on. I would think that if Town one would articulate that all mafia had to do was pile on and game over.

Good job to Mtam as well. No one would listen.

Strike was obv POE shouldve been lynched over legion all day everyday. Storr and IB were town virus ate me into believing he was town, the game was auto at final 7

Ever since you joined the game you kept going on and on about the fact that Virus was the perfect lynch target. Only a Mafia would not update their target based on new information. In essence you cared too much to be town.

Cared too much to be town...lol. Truth was that that was in part due to my unwillingness to throw Hotshot under the bus (since I wasnt sure if there was a doc and cop and role blocker was the only power role mafia had) he was the only other I saw in the game I could make a good case on.
