Any way, I'll quit harping.....if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to post a pic of my old girl....just painted her last summer (in my driveway...lol).

if I read right they bought marussia's facility and plan to use it during the season. I don't think it included much beyond that. Its probably a pipedream, but i'm hoping
but what I don't get is that marussia IS racing this season! it's renamed Manor racing and will be using 2014 ferrari engines.... wtfKoolBak wrote:Well at least we can agree on Top Gear
I likee horsepower....my streetbike has 150 at the tire and my old truck is pushing 550
can you really use those though? I think it's all about ballance. sure torque and horsepower are a big kick in the nut, but... if the car/bike is pretty undriveable at high speed I don't get the point.
I know that americans learned their lesson and now the new C6 (or was it C7?) vette was developped on the nurburgring and I heard very nice things about it. It's not just some undriveable junk with unlimited horsepower.
KoolBak wrote:Straight line baby....hell yes you can use it. 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds on my bike...10 seconds in my 3 ton, crew cab dually. And on long trips when I have 2,500 pounds of crap in the back of my truck and pulling a boat / trailer, I wanna be able to pass people up long steep mountain grades.....also doing smoky 4 tire rear burnouts and setting off car alarms is cool.....lol. I refuse to grow up. Stoopid Uhmerukin

I have a strong dislike for Ferrari.
Mercedes are going to walk it this year though.
NASCAR is too contrived...they have cautions way way too much. And restrictor plate racing is an abomination...yet it's the most popular with casual fans of racing in the US.
Having raced (not well) both ovals and road courses in high speed Karts I can say that road course racing takes much more skill.

I'm happy that hamilton won the title last year, he deserved it much more than rosberg. Hamilton is an expert for bad luck, and his first half of the season was just BS. Rosber runing into him and blowing up his tire while rosberg can continue and hamilton has to get back in boxes... wtf.
By the way, I made a bet with a friend yesterday. I said that Bottas would win 2 grand prix this season. I've got a feeling that williams will be the second best car this season.
I mostly follow Grosjean. I just hope that the lotus this year with a mercedes engine will be performant. Last year's car was pure shit, there was nothing to do with it. In 2012 and 2013 he did very well with a lotus that was running well, 2014 was a catastrophy with a low budget lotus. He finished second a few times in 2012 and 2013, and was pretty close from winning his first race. Hope this year's car will let him compete with the best.

TG....the specs say 2 and change but I can't do it....have tried at the local strip and the best I can lay down is 3 and change....think I need a drag slick and a wheelie bar to "max" out my time....lol. Have rejetted and have Kerker 2 / 2's...sounds like a little funnycar.....can't keep from tire spin / wheelie problems though 100 / 3rd gearBeen riding for over 40 years but still, it's probably my skillset. What bike you ride? Pic is pre-Kerkers.....

My sister in law had a newer bug I tried to sell for her (05?); that car was literally the cheapest, crappiest, plastic POS that I have driven in a long time....amazed me. We have an 03 jetta MK4 GLI and it is so much more solid and well put together....what happened with the germans and those bugs?

I enjoyed NASCAR the most out of the 4, I watched all for years.
Now I mainly watch NASCAR only, and pick up highlights for everything else.
I go to the Las Vegas race most years, tho this year I went to Daytona 500 instead.
Doesn't seem like much other NASCAR fans here so I'll leave it @ that
