This isn't a question of whether its right or wrong to use the word cunt. Personally, I couldn't care less, bc I don't have one. DF is pointing out the inequity of two almost identical instances being dealt with in opposing ways. Clearly not fair... This is an objective fact. If you want to attack DF instead of speaking to his (accurate) point, then so be it as I'm sure he can take it. Point is, he's right, whether u like what he's right about or not.

the overall approach through such matters between individuals has changed a lot.
one can see easily looking over the CA forum sub section... I remember old days CA sub forum was one of the most visited place once, now it is like ghost town...A big flashing sign for this site no more interferring into such matters except huge offenses i guess...

So, one has got to know it precisely, the two same looking events when they took place...it is key to explain the two different looking outcomes prolly.

I don t get it. For me, in french there is no "master swear word" that beats them all! The worse insults are the one you make up and that can hurt the most the target you aim.
I love how the word cunt sounds, calling someone a fucking cunt, wether it s friendly or not sounds great. When i was in a US university with a bunch of other french students we loved to place a lot that word.
When I lived in the UK, my brit friends were using it all the time.

I was kicked out of tofu because COF saw me use it in a gamechat against a lucky as f*ck opponent in a speed game lulz!

I believe the point, already spelled out quite clearly in this thread by TeeGee, is that forkbeard got banned for being a potty mouth at a time when the mods were a lot stricter, but now they have eased the rules and therefore do not ban people for being potty mouths.

Maybe what you guys are saying is, you would rather the mods restore their harsher rules and then retroactively ban Shannon?
