does it count as a cc special announcement? then/if u can unsub from the setting panel ..if not well im all for u should get freedom of choice here ... BUT its not that much work just deleting it either:)

I was annoyed when I started getting it again, because I thought I had opted out. Now, I just don't open it. I can understand it though really, it makes sense. They should be updating their community on things that are going on with monthly newsletters.

There should be an option to turn off the automatic notifications, but with so many things that desperately need attention from the programmers, this is pretty low priority stuff. It takes two clicks for someone who doesn't like the notification to delete it.

I'm pretty sure I never said it was "getting put back", but we put it on the left menu and said it would be added to left menu when you were in the forum as well instead of just game page possibly in the future.
Plus there is the smaller upper right button.

Yep. I will be "unsubscribing" the whole site. Because of being berated by players so worried I am messing up their rating.
You should have an opt-out for any game joined by a newby that might "mess up your rating". Not a very welcoming site.

Good god, ok whats the point? Just add it, then it avoids random threads like this where everyone bickers about it. Then guess what freedom is attained on one thing in this place. Its the first step towards righting the wrongs in CC!
