I def won't.... I play random settings and team game seqs here and there, but I really only enjoy freestyle... and it has become impossible to play freestyle the huge majority of the time now, so no.. I certainly would not...

I have hardly ever experienced lag, let alone lag bad enough to consider not returning as a member.

Maybe adding a 4th option was not a good thing.

I'm not even playing speed games anymore, I was getting frustrated too often because of the lag.

Since I'm not playing many casual games, and I'm avoiding speed games, I think I wouldn't renew my membership until the lag was fixed.

As a freestyle player. I will be gone in I believe it is a week when my membership comes up for renewal. Can't even get any good players to play anymore because it is just so laggy ALL the time.

I do not think I will renew my membership; even if the lag does get fixed.

I wish nobody else to renew 'my' membership either...thanks anyway.
Limit my games to four at one time...no want 24/7 anymore.

Fix the dice (allow me to win all my 12v1 battles :-))

somebody paid your membership to make a point, no one expected you to pay for it with your own money!

and i barely play speeders/fresstyle lately so i haven't suffered mcuh lag. I know that when I played an auto speed tourney the other day codierose, my opponent was experiencing some big lag. i heard people who needed 30s to be able to start their turn... on my side it works just as usual.

have you guys tried to erase and reinstall your browser? i know i had some shit on it with the scripts and all, it's all working nice since the reinstall.

I agree with rhp, freestyle is really what I enjoy the most. With lag, I often times have timed out at the end of the round, which makes it much less enjoyable as it alters the entire strategy of the game.

Thank God for that.

Had I spent my own $ I would have been thoroughly disappointed.
As it stands right now, I am disappointed. I will continue to enjoy a game or two...but no more of this 24/7

I'd probably renew but no more speed games or autotournaments, and I'd keep my game count way down.

At some point when we were facing each other to collect those stamps around christmas, i went to check your active games to see what was taking you so long.. And you had like 100 active, no wonder you feel like keeping your game count way lower!! :)
I think the best is 15 ish.

Absolutely!

Many players burn out here playing 50+ games at a time. Is it some weird need to 'get ones money's worth'?

I don't burn out from playing a high quantity of games. If anything it keeps me interested. Around Christmas I had approximately 70 active games, and the lowest I've been in a long time is 40-50. I'm currently around 120 because of the Map Blaster tournament.

There are no issues for me, personally, to carry this game count comfortably, until lag kicks in and adds an extra 2-5mins for every single game. Then it becomes a serious problem.

I am also abstaining from playing any speed autotournaments until the lag is sorted out, because I was forced to deadbeat a game because I lagged out.

it was an issue last night for me and was just creating problems with advancing, etc... click, nothing... "did i click?" hmmm... then some odd number would advance due to another click vs. what i wanted to move, blah, blah, blah... so i just started playing really slow and logged off after the turns were just taking too long and it had become a chore vs. fun... the black jesus does not like lag... the black jesus has spoken..-el Jesus negro

I've been online since around 9:15am GMT, no issues at all then, played my moves, wandered around the forum, attended to some clan business, then at around 8:30 CCT it was like the brakes were applied, massive slow down both for games and forum. Doesn't seem too bad for me now but I don't have any games with moves to play, forum is okay. Didn't think to look at any point as to how many were online, but my guess is that when a lot of people in the US (and associated time zones) are waking up/ logging in that coincides with the first major dip of the day, worst likely to be when the majority of the US get home from school/ work?
If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through

I am sorely disappointed that no one from the admin team has even addressed the issue.

For me, it is of course freestyle speed games, but also in sequential (the important games lol) I click and nothing happens so I click again and all of a sudden its advanced everything. So stupid.

Disappointed with the admin team. As much as I like the new stuff, it would be nice to see them take a short break to address the lag. I am sure that most would agree.

KA did post something in a Q&A topic recently, but I am not sure if any other admins have posted about it:

Subject: Is CC connexion slower ?

I believe KA has posted about it several places / times and possibly Blake as well but I'd have to find it. But it has been responded too a few time now.

Proper results take time to analyze and fix. Unless you want them to proverbially throw darts randomly hoping to fix it wasting time resources energy on things that don't ultimately address the issue.
