How to turn of notifications?

Is there a way to turn of notifications at the top of the my games page?

Right now I have the speeder tournament which I am not joining but I also keep getting the stars. I honestly do not want these up there every time I look at my games.

To my knowledge, there's no way for you to control it.

I believe there have been announcements in the past that were set to only show the first time you loaded the page... but that doesn't seem to have been done for these.

Personally, I'm hoping that they are trying to get the word out about speed tournaments, and eventually people will have to look for them on the tournaments list rather than being notified about every single one...
