Seeing as it's only four days away from the theoretical day that I sacrifice 24 hours of my life to celebrate my addiction to CC and its birthday and I still have yet to see an announcement, I'm getting a bit concerned with all the great work in updating the site, the current admin has forgotten about CC's birthday and the usual speed freestyle Battle Royales that typically ensue.
Are there plans for a CC birthday party this year? If so, I sure hope the announcement and advertising of the event will start soon. Last year under El Jefe/rds the event seemed to fall a bit flat and there were very few people around. Most of the day it was a struggle just to get a Doodle BR going, much less anything more interesting. It's my (hopefully not) delusional hope that this year will be so awesome that we'll be able to get back to filling at least a Cairn's Coral Coast game during primetime or if we're lucky, get a World 2.1 off the ground as I've seen happen in years long past.
On a side note, I think if a birthday party is being planned and we can get a decent number of players online for it, it'd be a wonderful time to plug the recent addition of speed tournaments. Maybe get a bunch of special speed auto-tournaments going for people to play while waiting for the BRs to fill.
