help break a stalemate

Post by brtrem »

Hi,

I'm in a 3 way game in which each player has a truce. Yep. We managed to work ourselves into a weird stalemate. After other players were eliminated, a few truces were arranged with the remaining 3 players. We've been stockpiling troops for months. Boring.

We've decided to end all truces. We need a way to determine who gets to attack first. I'd like to draw names out of a hat. Could someone do that for us? Perhaps an admin would be more authoritative. Could someone help us out? I'll tell you the colors to put into the hat after I hear back from you. Thanks!

There were 3 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

EDIT: Granted that your game is trench...it might just be better to deadbeat than to attack. It'll take forever on Hive in trench.

Yes, that's us. Did you already pick the names out of a hat? Or are you offering to?

Well, we'd like to at least try to make some progress. (I do wish there were a way to declare a stalemate, where, if all remaining players agree, the game is declared over; perhaps with points divvied up among the survivors.)

I put your three names into random.org and that's what I got. However you decide to end it is your call, but you can at least say you've got the random winner.

I wouldn't trust random.org. Better run those names through another randomizer. And if you don't get the results you want, then repeat my method until you do.

Maybe you guys can create a new game just the 3 of us, but with a round limit or some different settings.
The winner of that game would be allowed to win that stalemate game

Maybe you guys can each send me a donation via paypal, and I will absolutely guarantee that I will fairly and objectively decide the winner.
