Anyways, what s up with not accepting dice bitching from the opponent? The other day i played a game vs ooge, a guy that i ve played often as opponent or partner. I was dicebitching quite much in gamechat after missing 3 spoils in escalating polymorph. He felt like it was insulting or something to see me curse the dice each time and told me he was going to foe me. Seriously??

Other fin story from yesterday, this guy billy07 or whatever his username is... A 4000+ general that plays like a lieutenant (wonder where he got the points) basically rolling everything down to 1, only focusing on a +1 bonus in escalating, not giving the correct protection to his players about to get killed, not targeting one of my guys... And cursing all day in gamechat. He was playing like shit, i had to mention it. The game was mine, and i fail a 24v1v1v1v3 which is 99,9% to kill one of his guys with 5 spoils, so i basically give him the game, i dice curse and he bitches that i dicecurse as he had much worse dice all game. Seriously?? So you can bitch each time you fail a 3v3 and miss a 99,9% game move fail that gives the game to the opponent shouldn t be mentioned? Lulz

Dice ranting isn t against the opponent. At least not when i do it. i insult the dice. So when you get lucky you can t stand to see your opponent curse his luck? How is that an issue for you?
As i was telling ooge in that game; I insult whambot in gamechat when dice get ridiculous. It s just a relief to bitch. Also when an opponent gets seriously bad dice, playing good and complains about it I think it s the nice thing to do to acklowledge he is being dicefucked.

Ooge can be a bit sensitive at times but is a good guy when you get to know him. Billy has been gone for 2.5 years and started complaining his first game back . He does not believe he can be outplayed so it is the fault of the dice if he does not win...
Personally, I think a "venting" comment or 2 is ok but to keep complaining is offensive or to take all credit away from your opponent. I have said: thanks for the dice rape or thanks for the dice beat down. But I usually add: well played on your end.

You think it is CC's fault that their is dice variance? Do you realize that if you flip a coin 50,000 times you are likely to have streaks of 10, 12, 15 or more of the same outcome? Do you even understand probability and statistics? Random number generation is just that...random. If you roll 20 against 10 you will win 96.5% of the time. This means that once out of every 30 times you make that attack you will lose. The reality is that each time you succeed you make no note of it as it is expected that you win. So you win that roll 29 times in a row without any thought. Then you lose it and think the game is rigged, CC has screwed you, this should NEVER happen. The reality is that there was NOTHING unusual about it. Given the amount of games being played at any one time I would proffer that there should be extreme outcomes every day. We have all experienced taking a small stack and smashing a much larger one. We have all experienced rolling perfect roll after roll as we slice through an opponent. We think it is normal because we are so good. But when someone does it to us...

yes, I like ooge and i think he likes me, although maybe not after tha last game where he really didn't like the fact that i dice ranted 2-3 times.
And seriously, billy has the gameplay of a captain, at least right now. in a 4 player polymorph escalating it's not the end of the world if you miss your first spoil with one of your players, you don't need to try all your 3v3 like he does. dice bitching depends on the odds you've just missed. Basically this guy dicebitches for missing a few 60%, then thinks it's ironic as i had better dice and then bitch because i miss a 99,9% (true odds, not exagerating) and give him the game. Having a few bad turns would be legitimate for dice rants, but an epic dice fail that makes you lose that same game is ironic to complain about, because it's only one round? lulz
The kind of odds the OP is talking about are worth complaining about. It's the kind of odds that make a game go from a safe victory to a scandalous loss. What is he expecting from his post? nothing. He's just pissed and needs to get it out. People know that and just enjoy putting salt on the wound.

So I tried a couple of games vs. the Bots and WOW, my dice are on fire.....go figure 3 vs 3... win 2 vs 2....win 3 vs 3 win then attack 2 vs 1....win again!!!! The games mean nothing at all but count toward your win percentage....DUMB. Then I go back to playing by 12 player games and guess what........here we go again....lose 6 vs 1, 10 vs 2 etc. etc. etc. You get the picture.

I remember when there were 23000 players on this site and now what are we down to 11500? And it typical political fashion the morons on this site say there is nothing wrong!!!! HAHAHHAH It's all wrong!!!!!

You may call it the way you see it, but you see it wrong . Your dice stats and battle outcomes seriously disagree with you. I have played a decent amount of games on this site and have NEVER lost a 29 - 5 attack or anything close to that. I have lost 9 v 1 or 8 v 1 a few times. But once again, you are supposed to lose that roll on occasion. The problem is that you do not remember all the times you succeed with that roll as you expect the outcome. I have stated this before in other threads. Find me ONE player on this site who has statistically significant dice variations from the norm. I have NEVER seen it. If what you say is true then you should find many people with abnormal dice distribution. Your own distribution is EXACTLY as you would predict which invalidates your theory. If you were losing 29 - 5 at any abnormal rate it would reflect in your dice stats. As it does not it implies that your dice are random and average.
Further, it is my understanding that this site acquires numbers in batches of 50,000. However, these are randomly generated numbers that are cut off at 50,000. They are not predetermined as you suggest. If I randomly generated 1,000,000 numbers and then gave you the first 50,000 they would still be random...

I have stated this before in other threads. Find me ONE player on this site who has statistically significant dice variations from the norm. I have NEVER seen it. If what you say is true then you should find many people with abnormal dice distribution. Your own distribution is EXACTLY as you would predict which invalidates your theory. If you were losing 29 - 5 at any abnormal rate it would reflect in your dice stats. As it does not it implies that your dice are random and average.
Further, it is my understanding that this site acquires numbers in batches of 50,000. However, these are randomly generated numbers that are cut off at 50,000. They are not predetermined as you suggest. If I randomly generated 1,000,000 numbers and then gave you the first 50,000 they would still be random...

you have been lucky then. I've lost 20vs1 in the past. Goes both ways though have also won 3vs11, just hitting it for a laugh, as game essentially over. Surprised the ...... out of me
