Yeah, you can just make note, and besides anyone can play as long as they don't play 2ice in a row

Now that you have seen that the bishop protected the pawn, can you tell me what was suicidal about 2. c4?

you are right...but still, moving a bishop up so early isn't very smart.

On the contrary, he has a powerful piece out on the field, with the added bonus of removing one of your pieces.

Yeah, when you have to use pictures because your opponent doesn't understand the simplest chess notation, it can become a bit confusing.
