San Francisco

Anyone here from San Francisco?

I'm coming over that way (from Australia) for work and am taking a holiday there before the conference.

What's good to do (if anything  )???

I'm thinking of doing the Alcatraz tour and going to Yosemite national park.

Any other suggestions?

yosemite is a bit of a drive but its gorgeous. there's lots to do in golden gate park: you have the conservatory of flowers, japanese tea garden, de young museum
the museum of modern art downtown.
have dinner in north beach. theres a lot of great italian restaurants with outdoor seating and cafes.

go to the top of twin peaks! its known for having the undisputed best view in san francisco!

Went to SF last year (did Vegas, LA, Yosemite and ended in SF)...

Was the best bit of my trip to be honest. Wished I could have spent more time there...

Had some lovely grub in Chinatown, and some great seafood on seafront on a pier... Exploring the park was nice (as someone said earlier), and just wandering around the city was great! Jump on the trams and off you go!

Gotta go here:
