Insane. Sorry for the less than a day posting, I have college and neighbors complaining about me walking to my fridge at 2 AM that call the cops on me. For current events, as far as the claiming of PR's go, that plan was hatched a while ago, so I dont see why people are randomly calling out their PR's... then again, I am not in the right mind. As far as the case of skoffin and DY, I still say its either a PR on doom's part, or he just really doesnt like the color of red. As far as talapus and jamesker, I am undecided because both of them bring up posts, expose them, and then make excuses for the exposures, so Im 50/50 on that. Thats all I have to add for now, though the incoming deadline forces me to think of a lynch candidate. As far as Im concerned, I dont like the way Com9 is acting, but I can understand having a role that can become a really good role if everyone would just believe you, but because I dont have that role I cant trust him completely. With talapus and james, both present reasonable cases, and I think its a townie to townie fight because nobody would drag this argument out that long unless they were townies (correct me if Im wrong, but the cases have been going on sporadically for the past few pages). On the note of DY, I believe it to be a PR as hes NEVER quite this aggressive in games (that Ive played in with him), and so I dont think the amount of hostility is his doing, more so a PR, condition for the player in question, or just screwing with us all, as he has been changing his play style visibly (or at least to me) the past few games Ive seen him in...


Sorry for all the parentheses, I have many thoughts when Im drunk, want to fit them all in, but most of them fit within the lines of the parentheses, therefore they go there. Again, sorry for the inactivity, Im in college and to boot I despise day 1.

Anyway, glad to see everyone again and being back for a game of MAFAIS!

The only problem is this day 1 should have ended 10 days ago, it's going freaking nowhere and I couldn't bring myself to read most WIFOM in the last pages. Between the calls for a Twitter-format mafia and some misguided attempts at avoiding lynches, we're not off to a good start for sure.

Even though I find many scummy behaviours the main point of interest to me is the Commie/Tal situation. Nark still always seems scummy to me but he has 40 PHDs, so...

The point is, someone has to get lynched. Tal calling for a Commie nightkill feels fishy, as someone else has pointed out it's not like we can have a guaranteed, planned town kill every night. You know who does though? SCUM!
My paranoïa wheels are starting to click again, and it seems like a subtle defense Tal is doing. At this point the Commie lynch will be the best to make the most info out of this sorry excuse for a day 1 IMO.

Alright, I am honestly kind of blown away that nobody else has this level of restrictions for what they are supposed to include in their posts... Several people started out doing the same thing, talking about THEIR PhDs or having what they said were "obvious post restrictions" but I have not seen anybody keep that up throughout all of their posts. So, in my opinion, these people have continued to post without following their PR and have not been reminded to follow them. I have two things I am supposed to do in every post... Mention 40 PhDs or my intelligence and try to lynch Comm9.

If people aren't going to follow their PRs, then what's the point of having them? Of course, when only 12 of 27 people ever post, who knows who else MAY have a PR that they may or may not follow. Unless more people start to interact, and actually follow the instructions that Fircoal gave them, this game is going to quickly lose interest for me...

Well, darn! Unvote Commander9 If Nark has to vote for him in every post I think that actually increases the chance that he(Commander) is harmless.

That being said, if he turns out to be the Cult Leader I still expect to be praised as a hero that I am.

BTW, my exercises in vanity are not a PR. I was an only child during my formative years. An awesome only child.

I think that you are being a bit unfair to Nark - he hasn't tried to lick anyone in this game. Yet.

As for the whole deadline situation, I vote for Fircoal to do the SANE thing. Timeo Pikachu et Frenchie ferentes.

P.S. Sorry for not posting much but I had stupid stupid week. I am happy to report that, although I haven't had success in pretty much anything that i have been doing (except in Candy Crush ) the results of my various actions have made my life a bit less stupid, so I should be able to concentrate on the important things like Mafia.

Oh that's a good catch. We can't take for granted alignments based on PR but I highly doubt both are town. It'd be nice to have Shadowstar participating more as I'm not insane enough to play our crazy Chu mod and thought Nark being a possible lyncher didn't mean much.
