No I wouldn't. And I feel my statment echoes what anamainiacks said but, if he posted the flaw in his logic, then we could judge how major a flaw it is, and it would also cause more discussion. Personally, I can't see what he has to lose by providing it (that been the flaw).

My opinions on alignments, is that N/N, are survivor VT's. E/C, resembles an SK, and I suppose there would have to be a group of E/?, as a mafia. Not sure what alignment the cult is but I guess they recruit people to their alignment, unlikely to be N/N me thinks because cults generally have some beliefs, maybe its like a pro town mason recruiter (or whatever that role is called) and the alignment is G/? (I'm leaning G/L but I only hypothesize).

Okay, I've been going round and round about Jonty's post above...I had to go back and re-read it to see if I actually wanted to vote Jonty for it. Reading the order of posts, and what Jonty actually says condenses down to:

1. TFO posts - "hey everyone, there is a cult"
2. Jonty posts - "I think there are survivors (N/N), an SK (E/C), mafia (E/?) and a cult (G/?).
3. TFO posts - "Hey everyone, I was only giving you part of my information, the cult is a bunch of evil dragon worshipers!"

So, Jonty was thinking there was a cult and an SK...I'm not sure how often that happens, even in a game this large. He pinned the E/C on the SK, therefore leaving a hole on what the cult would be. I don't know, his thinking is very disjointed here. Why assume an SK, when TFO says there is a cult? Why not assume cult is E/C and then try to figure the rest?

To top it off, he throws out the OMGUS vote on Strike (I don't think admitting it is OMGUS makes it less scummy).

I will VOTE JONTY.

I do want to clarify that I didn't think I'd need to say that they were "Evil". Be it dragon worshipers, Nicki Minaj worshipers, etc. When I hear the word "Cult" I associate it with "Anti town".

And I swore I put my vote on Jonty. I might be going bonkers, probably because of that bubbly drink. VOTE: JONTY

anyway, I think that if doom didn't remember greg's alignment it's because it's not the same as his.

I said that because I thought he was lawful. It meant that if there were more chaotics than lawfuls, the chaotics would've banded together for a lynch.

Looking into doomyoshi and Aage seems like a waste of time to me. While Doomyoshi's argument wasn't the greatest, if anything he showed himself to be lawful not scum. Aage if anything other than Good/Neutral might be Good/Chaotic posing as Good/Neutral. Either way, neither of them are on the top of my lynch list. Our top goal should be cult and I still feel Jonty's as good of a candidate as anyone for that. The logic being simple that the cult recruiter or cult member would be likely to try to see if they could put cult in a less negative light. Sorry Jonty, Cult is always bad even in faction games. I'm pretty sure you've been here long enough to know that. Jonty was at the forefront of that so in that way he is my lead candidate for cult.

As for set up of Chaotic Evil. I'm thinking it's the cult recruiter and an allied SK (The Dragon) they can win with each other but probably do not know who the other is. WIFOM argument could suggest that TFO's mention of cult was an attempt to make contact with them but that's a far fetched case to make (especially as this possible set up is still unproven). For now, I believe TFO to be honest, the chances of him being a pro town role who was told of the Cult's existance seems much more likely.

Maybe it's alignment based and we should lynch TFO or Betiko.

Honestly I don't care about the name since there is no way to check whether it's fake + my name yields no results on google.

Same, that's why I asked for the class. I can see why a regional traveller would have commute, I don't see why it would have an unblockable kill nor why regional traveller would be lawful aligned. Your race explains the commute and block ("[Gnomes] are skilled with illusions", ~wiki) but WHY would a lawful guy get killing powers?

Besides, regional traveller isn't a class in DnD, and I'm getting the idea it's more of a rogue (based on his abilities), but I'll buy it. If you had made one up, you would've googled "DnD classes" and picked one of those instead.

Jonty claims to be allied to town (n/l and g/n can win together) but his abilities don't exactly help town. I would be fine with a lynch, day 1 deadlines in four actual days and we would probably get a no lynch if we pursued other cases. I would be fine with that too, btw. No need to cheat anyone out of a premium prize on day one because he's neutral, and not lying about it. unvote.

actually i kind of had a thing after race which is a very common french word (therefore thought it was used sometimes in english) but if you invert 2 letters it would make more sense and would become kind of a class thing in english. I'll have to ask edoc (edoc if anyone bothers me about it thanks to confirm publically that if it's the case you made a typo in my pm)

Looks like I may have swapped the E around in all Rogue role PMs. Spelling isn't my best skill and I didn't notice. Rogue is the DnD class, Rouge is a girls make-up thing. :oops:

N/L is technically allied to anti-town as well, since he can win with E/L and E/N too. So it actually does make a lot of sense - his skills can be used to help whichever side he so chooses, or based on whoever he happens to choose as his target. Unvote.

Hahahaha, so betiko is a Rogue... Then again, it doesn't tell us much about his alignment, except that he probably isn't the Cult Leader.
