All the roles are read, So scene when I get back from class!

Ok, quick note for the scene. Anything in Italics is happening "real world" while anything in normal font is roleplay, scenery description, etc. I'll be mixing the two a bit for humor in coming scenes.

Hey guys, we heard there was a big DnD game going on at John's place tonight, so we brought our character sheets!

Yeah, we're just getting started. There was only supposed to be a few of us, but it seems like a lot of people were interested. We can squeeze in a few more players. The Dungeon Master (DM) is just setting the scene now, so you are just in time.


So all you adventurers are sitting in a tavern. The proprietor is a Dwarf, he sells two kinds of beer. One is good dwarven ale, the other bubbles ...oddly... you have no idea what would happen if you drank it, but it's cheap as water.

There is a great hearth blazing merrily, and everyone who sits around it seems to feel better about life in general.

The patrons are a mixed lot. There are perhaps 20 foreigners sitting individually, in pairs, or in small groups. There are a few more locals then there are foreigners, and the place is quite crowded. Each of you look around, not really trusting anyone you see yet. You order a beer and begin to catalog the room. Who is a threat, who is a potential ally?

A party of 20? How are we ever going to get things done here. It could take a week just for a round of combat!

Don't worry, I thought of this! So you know how there are always NPCs? Bad guys? That sort of player? Well, some of you can be those characters, and it will help speed things up!

Whatever. Kill them all and take their stuff.

No one appreciates the DM.

Where do you adventurers go from here? Will you randomly pick a fight with someone in the crowd, or will you wait till the cover of night to begin to form a plan?

D1 has begun! 19 alive, 10 to lynch, and deadline is in 2 weeks.
