Have no fear, Serbs. But honestly, I can only take so much of Scotty Bowman and Marc Crawford going at each other before needing a break. A manly man would check Patrick Roy into next Tuesday.

... I've been out of the US for about 10 years, but I'm moving back this year. When I left, "Reality TV" wasn't invented yet. TIVO didn't exist (no TIVO in Japan, go figure - maybe because TV here sucks). Top shows were Seinfeld and . . . Third Rock from the Sun.

... I wonder if I actually missed anything.

... (aside): I don't get the appeal of reality TV. Isn't reality real enough for all of us? I really haven't a clue, as I've never actually seen it, but name implies it's about "real stuff", right?

I'll second that! We still sell pictures of the Vernon - Roy and Osgood - Roy fights here in Detroit.

My husband is obsessed with Patrick Roy; and even then, he'd probably flip at the chance to check him into the boards with manly hockey rage.

And, on topic, is Mythbusters considered manly TV?

British TV standards are declining because the BBC is run by women says Sir Patrick Moore

Now I wouldn't have thought this was the case - I mean everyone can choose what they watch now and we can RECORD TV to watch whenever we like. But Sir Patrick is a living legend so I'm inclined to believe he speaks the truth.

Sign this petition - we want Manly TV for manly men! None of this reality TV & soap opera bleading heart rubbish! Clear our airwaves of the foul stench of gender equality!

I love the idea!

But, er, what petition?

I demand channel 10 to stop playing romance comedies on Friday's. It's not clever, it's not funny, no one cares.
And reality tv should also be taken off the air.
