can anyone name all of the people in thorin's band (sans himself, Bilbo and gandalf?) without looking in the book?

im thinking it was lord of the rings and D&D

that really doesn't make sense, beacause D&D is a boardgame, there isn't really any solid story..., unless ur proffessional...(sp)

Thorin, Bilbo, and Gandalf of course. Also I think Nain was there, but I don't know anyone else. I really need to get the hobbit and the simillion

Fili and Kili die with Thorin.

Bilbo and Gandalf are obviously alive.

Gloin in still alive, he was at Elronds meeting. I remember Gloin saying something about it taking 4 or 8 dwarves to move Bombur cus hes so fat, so hes still alive. Balin went to Moria, and they found his tomb, so hes dead. He took 2 of the others who are also dead now, I think it was Dori and Nori, not sure though...I got a feeling it was Ori and Oin though...

That leave Bifur and Bofur who I dont know about.

Overall:

Alive : Gandalf, Bilbo, Gloin, Bombur

Dead : Thorin, Fili, Kili, Balin, Dori, Nori

Unknown (to me atm) : Ori, Oin, Bifur, Bofur

This is all of the top of my head mind you, and I havn read LotR or the Hobbit since October half term...LotR Fanatics FTW!!!

In the appendix of the books I got it tells you everything. The appendixes are amazing, tells you abolustely everything you need to know.

i know i have them all printed out and put in a folder just in case i want to look something up :lol:
